iTunes Chart // August III - September I
I only heard about it for the first time yesterday, I thought it was new and special haha!

Booty Luv 'Say It'
No.13 now, right on the back of Wale/GaGa - slow and steady wins the race ;) Shame it's not looking to be a top 10 though... top 15 not too bad though, they are a dance act afterall and there isn't quite the same pressure for consistent hits.. ideally need to smash it with the next single though!

Booty Luv 'Say It'
I think it's doing quite well actually, it was No.62 when I went to bed last night and they're not exactly the Sugababes popularity wise.. should still go top 15!

PREDICT: Chipmunk - Oopsy Daisy
Oh, I went top 3. Possibly even No.1

PREDICT: Chipmunk - Oopsy Daisy
TOTALLY disagree with Aly, Tinchy, Ironik, Chipmunk, N-Dubz and the rest of the 'Young Soul Rebels' (VV, Pixie, Frankmusik, Kid British, MPHO) have been the absolute best thing about music this year!

Chipmunk ∙ 'Oopsy Daisy'
Also 'you've seen me grow from a boy to a man so this must really be the end of the road' is a great, intelligent Boyz II Men reference - he really is great with the referencing. Great hook by the girl too, reminds me of Never Leave You, top stuff!

Chipmunk ∙ 'Oopsy Daisy'
'And now I feel like the Saturdays all week, cause me and my heart got crazy Issues' WHAT A STAR. I think Chipmunk is one of the best rappers we've seen in ages, really easy to listen to, crazy talented, intelligent, I think his album is going to be SUPERB.

Alexandra Burke ∙ 'Bad Boys'
That still went ahead? After both getting dropped? Well good for them :D I really disagree with the verses are nothing talk. The verses are the best bit for me - the last line of each verse (I know I'm playing with fire but I don't mind) are easily the best bit of the song IMO!

Alexandra Burke ∙ 'Bad Boys'
I knew you were wrong Jark :naughty:

Alexandra Burke ∙ 'Bad Boys'
It would struggle to be as epic as Bleeding Love, given that it's an uptempo, I tend to find 'epic' songs are big belting ballad numbers. Alex had to come back with a hot uptempo... it's a really strange mix of urban and pop between the verses and chorus.. but it kinda just works. I love it, it'll be huge!
-
Tinchy Stryder ∙ 'Catch 22'
I am VERY impressed with this. The only song I'm really not into is Tryna Be Me. My favourite is 'Warning' (it's HUGE) - great to see everyone has different favourite by the way - while also really loving Express Urself, Halo, First Place - loads of top tracks on here, and I think he's proved he can do great song ON HIS OWN!

Top 200 Best Sellers Of The Decade
Do we think Alexandra will make the top 5? She's still a few k off but what with her about to blow up properly (Hallelujah sure to be used on her X Factor montage and the like), she could do it, right?

Jazmine Sullivan - Bust Your Windows
Is anyone going to see her at the Jazz Cafe in London in a few weeks? I was waiting until payday and I feel so stupid because now it's sold out bar tickets with a table which are double the price.. she'd better be back!

Dizzee Rascal's 'Holiday' was written for The Saturdays!
It is 100% true, I've heard Calvin say so! Not the whole track with Dizzee's words, just the main beats. Holiday is pretty much song of the year for me, so I'd have loved to hear what the Sats would do with it but still

Miley Cyrus - Party In The USA / Time Of Our Lives EP
Me too, very surprised!
-
Dizzee Rascal · Tongue N' Cheek
Well there are three 10/10 tracks on there.. it's gotta be worth a punt. He's a ledge, will see what he does at V Fest next week!

Remi Nicole//Standing Tears Apart
Aled, I adore your music taste. VV, Sats, Remi :D You cater to my pop side perfectly. I think this is absolutely lovely and that Jark needs to GET OUT. Won't do anything though, sadly. Hope we get the album 'Cupid Shoot Me' though, enjoyed MC&I

Miley Cyrus - Party In The USA / Time Of Our Lives EP
I love it, :( When she's Hannah she is god awful, but I can't resist Miley. Thought this was a very competent performance. I defected my pop alliance from Britney to Miley when Cyrus blew Spears out of the water when they did the same week of X Factor last week.. in that Miley actually sang - did so well - and that's the thing I look for in music and artists.

Booty Luv 'Say It'
I actually thought they were very good, bit shaky to begin perhaps but loved the harmony in the chorus!

Kate Nash: New album!
Also she has the most beautiful tone to her voice when she sings verbrato (sp?) Really don't get the hate. Seen her six times, each some of the best gigs I've ever been to. Really hoping that Don't You Want To Share The Guilt isn't on there as it's been a b-side, also Doo Wah Do and I Hate Seagulls I don't think are up to scratch for the album. Hope Pickpocket and Paris make it though :) Amazing songs from a true talent.
-
VV Brown - Game Over
I love the album and think this is the best choice as well as being one of the best songs - so I'm happy!
-
Big Brother: Eviction #09
Everyone vote Hira to stay :P David out!

Jay Sean ∙ 'Down' ft.Lil' Wayne ∙
Two ;)

iTunes US Top 300 [JUL 2009]
He's moving very quickly though... even if he doesn't still, wow. If you'd asked me to name a peak for it 6 weeks ago, I've have said 172. WOW, so pleased for him :D

iTunes US Top 300 [JUL 2009]
Jay is going to be No.3 soon, surely? Amazing!
