X Factor 2009
From what I remember, there was no booing in my auditions. Laughter, yes, but mainly just silence... like, we stood up because one guy was so funny when talkign to the judges and as soon as he opened his mouth, everyone in the place sat down at the same split second!

X Factor 2009
When I was there they explcitly said, this is not 'Talent', please do not boo anybody, if you don't like them, please just remain silent.

Booty Luv 'Say It'

Radio 1 Line-up shake up
I don't mind the moves. I like Jo and Edith but they are the two I could do without, the others make me laugh and smile along. Would have preferred Sara Cox in Jo's slot (ooh er), but Greg James very much deserves a more prime slot, so great move! Dev must be happiest - got promoted to this station in the weekend breakfast slot two weeks ago, now he's got the main one!

Ex - Evanescence members are now "We Are The Fallen"
I'm a bit sick of reading all the comments around the internet .. 'you'll never replace Amy Lee, what a bitch trying to copy her'. Whatever, sure, Amy was great, but from what I've seen in their actual LIVE showings, Carly $h!ts on Amy from a great height and I'd like to see her be given a chance at least. The first single is fantastic. Apparently they have said they won't be releasing albums though, just a few tracks every eight weeks or something.

Jazmine Sullivan - Bust Your Windows
We're not angry at you Jon, I'm just surprised, I found her album one of the most instant I've ever listened to! I only picked it up as it was cheap and a friend kept going on about it... SOOOO glad I did. Agree on 'Need U Bad' blandness but the rest.. mighty fine! I think being Grammy Nominated does make it a good song.. but good songs are never going to be to everyone's taste. No song ever will!

Jazmine Sullivan - Bust Your Windows
OMG, it doesn't go anywhere?! It starts off so placid and calm for a song about revenge and she gradually turns up the vocal fire and it's so powerful at the end without being screamy. It's only not my album highlight because the album is incredible. Deserves to be MASSIVE.

iTunes Chart // July II
I think they mean the line (in Radio) 'I be on the hotline, like errrday (everyday)', but that's her being 'ghetto' - so it works!

Frankmusik 'Complete Me' // 22-06-09
Not a great cover but I do love his hair and I think the album will be amongst the years best..

V V Brown - Travelling Like the Light
Oh my goodness it's just wonderful, so happy with it! 'Game Over' or 'Bottles' for next single. Loving 'Everybody' and 'Crazy Amazing' too!

VV Brown 'Shark in the Water' || Summer 2009
But it's not bad for someone whose last single made No.6793

Alexandra Burke - Overcome
Yeah the tone and sometimes even the strain makes Alexandra's voice really sexy. I don't think they can compete vocally though, and I don't think anybody ever really questioned it. However, Alexandra will prove, I believe, that she $h!ts all over Leona as an artist (and I love Leona). When you get a song like 'Forgive Me' which with it's Akon input and indeed general brilliance as a song could have been one of the years biggest smashes (and don't say anything about it being a fourth single or whatever because Run came after it!) you can't afford to turn it as limp as Leona did. She just can't DO upbeats very well, which is the single reason no matter how many times Alex is called out on her vocals '...compared to Leona', she can still be a necessary UK popstar! As for 'Overcome', it's nice enough but a bit predictable. I can see the Battlefield thing but it's not as good and I think (hope?) the Syco camp have got something better than this up their sleeve and indeed the sense to know they need something beyond incredible.

V V Brown - Travelling Like the Light
Bottles could definitely be a single and I've only heard that, Quick Fix and L.O.V.E

My feed has Arctics No.9 and VV No.23! Also on the iPhone have they removed the iTunes chart or just moved it? They used to have 'top 10's' and you could get the top 100, can't find it now, I used to check everywhere!

Holiday • Collaboration
Someone also said it was his second single from the album but Dance Wiv Me was never on an album before now was it? I predict an easy No.1 for this - an album with THREE No.1 singles on it is going to be MASSIVE - he's timed it all so right as it is almost as if this is his second single, but the adverts will remind people of three absolute whopper hits!

Booty Luv 'Say It'
I really don't think a couple of Radio 1 plays will affect it greatly. We have a warped opinion of music sometimes on forums, our obsession with it isn't standard for the country as a whole, nor is our desire to hear it. How few of us will have heard it go out live on R1 - and then how many of us actively searched for it etc? Most people wouldn't do that! They'll be hearing it for the first time soon and it'll be a top 10 hit IMO

John Mayer...
Yep, the sig is a bit old, still like them all but Tunstall and Blunt I am not totally obsessed with anymore but Mraz is my favourite musician ever - then Kate Nash, Mayer, Lily Allen, Estelle and the Arctic Monkeys :D
