Glad this has got such a positive response, thought it was wicked.. the kids more so than the teachers who were way OTT.. the farting thing was just ridiculous, but I thought the young cast were great. Love quiet twin, Emily, just for looking like Kate Nash. Love Pandora. Think the combination of the three main lads is ace too as JJ is so different, moreso than Sid and Tony were. Effy is... captivating. Annoying, but sexy.

Funnily enough Ride It wasn't one that shocked me by doing well - but didn't expect Maybe top 20, didn't expect the album top 10, didn't expect this to go top 40 iTunes, and was shocked to find Stolen was a top 5 hit!

Absolutely, I think she should be there this year.. at the expense of Beth Rowley who for me is like an Ian Brown or a Beck and always seems to crop up in nominations regardless of sucess or acclaim.

Jay Sean ALWAYS but ALWAYS manages to surprise me.. I've heard the song like twice on the radio and haven't seen the video at all. I'm very pleased because I adore him, I hope he continues climbing! Wicked for Tinchy and Alesha too! Get in UK R&B!

But there's the issue of proving oneself as an artist... people had been hearing the Kate single and album for well over half a year and although they both attended the same school, had worked her way in from an indie label, as well as displaying musicianship from the off. I love Leona but effectively she is still singing what people want her to sing, there is little artistry there and although I think she's worked on vocals, stage presence AND seems to be developing a sort of artistry since (with 'Run' and wanting to go in a rockier direction with the second LP), at the time people had had the album in their hands for a matter of weeks (when the nominations came out at least), so in my opinion it was way too early for someone who was essentially a brand new mere vocalist.

I'm glad you said that Norma, people were very angry at Kate Nash getting the award and not Leona but it was WAY early for her to take a BRIT... very surprised this year though to not see her. Run I can understand as it didn't get a proper release?

As I said in the other thread, happy for Adele and Estelle.. don't expect the latter to win anything though. Gutted for British male talents like Jay Sean and more so Taio Cruz - both had cracking years and instead we get Ian Brown, Paul Weller and The Streets, the last of whom I'll admit is fantastic but hasn't exactly had a great era... The only one I think is a given is James Morrison winning Best British Male... and I'd be happy with that.

'Sex' is BLOODY AMAZING The album as a whole is very strong, liking it! And I read this whole thread, and like Eminem too, why must there be comparisons ALWAYS

Yeah that's Taio, thanks for sending me to their site, didn't know they did videos now! Taio was AMAZING especially in the slower bit before the song really kicked in... very impressed.Tinchy very good also! Hope it's a chart topper!

Was Taio with him in the LL? So pleased it's doing well - as well as Alesha and Jay Sean - Jay always seems to do well on minimal exposure, better than anyone expects anyhow!

I really hope so, as I said in the charts thread, would love them to do 8, 5, 4 and then top 3 with Work.. how amazing would that be, really show people the quality of whats left on the album.. Also I find it HILARIOUS that after the slap/stab debacle, the radio edit isn't the one selling so 90% of people who have this have the 'stab' version ANYWAY!

I love Set Me Off but would rather Fall stayed and would have waited until closer to the end but didn't expect it to last this long haha! I'd change my vote from ITIL if I could :P
