Woohoo, hope Craig keeps climbing with Insomnia, wasn't expecting a chart hit from him, thought maybe it'd just make people more aware of the album!

I'm A Celebrity line-up revealed
I loved this, a good crowd, bar Nicola... I liked Carly and Dani in the task, both did well, Simon and Joe were HILARIOUS in their's, I think Joe will be a favourite. Esther was funny with her little kayaking thing, Kilroy falling off those skis all the time was ace, they just seem a very decent bunch so far!

X Factor: The Live Shows
Okay last night, best to worst. 01. Ruth Lorenzo - Angels This was just magic, possibly a couple of iffy notes but much more the Ruth we have seen in the bottom two performances, passionate and belting out the vocals. Great show close. 02. Rachel Hylton - You Know I'm No Good I loved this, I really liked the changes she made to the melody which made it harder for her, but she coped well, and I loved the confidence that she had back. However I'm sick of all this 'Rachel has ARRIVED' business - what do you want, a medal? It's week six.. most contestants were with us a couple months back. The fact she can only nail about 3 of the 10 or so songs she has done over the course isn't to be applauded.. but this performance was magic. 03. Alexandra Burke - You Are So Beautiful YES! YES!! This was not Alexandra's best performance. But boy, it was the performance she NEEDED. A performance where nobody could compare her to current divas or say that Alex tried to emulate anyone, it was just one (gorgeous) lady with her voice in an understated, simple, flawless set up. Not particularly challenging you might argue, but I think it will have bumped her up in people's estimations. Still the only contestant in my eyes not to have put a foot out of place, she just does the job perfectly. 04. Diana Vickers - Yellow This started off really well and looked as if it could be another night-stealing performance, the verses were magic but you started to tell she was ill and be a bit disappointed in the chorus, and the subsequent 'oooohs' were pretty bad in my opinion. Of course you have to let her off but it was one of her weakest. The silence after Simon's comment about being worried for her said it all, no-one booed, they all knew he might have a point, and Cheryl's face really dropped when Diana walked around with her hand on her head. Personally, I don't think the artist should do that, they are being watched all the time and while it's fine to feel disappointment at a performance, live on tv in the one or two minutes after isn't the outlet IMO, it's not long to keep spirits up for... 05. JLS - Medley I thought this started really well! LOVED I Wanna Hold Your Hand, then it became a bit screechy into Twist and Shout and then Aston's shouting/growling JUDEY JUDEY was horrible in my opinion in the last number. It was all a bit messy and while it was entertaining in a sense and they looked like they were having fun, vocally there were bum notes and it was one of their worst I think. 06. Eoghan - One More Try(?) Bah, after how amazing last week was, I'm disappointed. Vocals were largely nice (not always a good word in music) but he REALLY has to concentrate on the big high notes, he makes it look so much effort which isn't good. It meant it didn't flow when the high note came in, it looked like three seperate entities - Start of Song/High Note/End of Song. I also thought it wasn't very exciting at all. 07. Daniel - It's Not Unusual Credit where it's due again, the man's vocals have improved over the series.. some lovely notes and the last note was truly great! However I just thought it was tacky, and not fun at all, pretty boring actually. The man is just not cut out to be a popstar! Result Was very worried for Alexandra because of her positioning (glad she has got past a week near the final where she is near the top of the show, at least the wrong side of Diana), was expecting Rachel to sail it, so was thinking Alex or JLS vs Daniel. In the sing off, Rachel had good attitude (for a change) but it meant she didn't sing it with the right meaning. Vocally though it was superb I thought (seems you all disagree!) and much better than Daniel's average effort. Overall 01. Alexandra 02. Ruth 03. Diana 04. JLS 05. Eoghan 06. Rachel Comments This week to do with Cheryl - WHY did she say 'Rachel had her worst week last week, she was totally out of tune', when she made no reference to that last week in her critique? She is proving herself to be a total coward and putting positive spin on things or just ignoring anything too negative for her image. Not what we need from a judge, I'd respect her more if she'd said to Rachel last week 'I know you're having a tough time, but that was awful and out of tune, babe'

I don't even read that chart! :P

BBC1 Children In Need
Is it sad that I thought of you when I saw the Script johnjo, when in reality, I have no idea who it is I'm actually thinking of lol!

BBC1 Children In Need
Does anyone who just saw a bit of Belfast footage know who that last male singer at the keyboard was? V. enjoyable!

BBC1 Children In Need
Ah good for her, I think she'd make a great presenter. I agree Aaron! Well one of, I guess cause I've seen very similar performances before whereas Keisha was a new tool in Morrisons work, he edges her out :P
-
BBC1 Children In Need
Oh by the way, I missed the very beginning - when Fearne spoke to Alesha at one point she said to her 'you've had a taste of presenting today' - when?! I'm really enjoying Russell Watson not doing a big choir song, I'm impressed with the way he's using his voice. Corrie seemed funnier second time lol. And forgot to say QI was ace

BBC1 Children In Need
Watching Eastenders again, Jane Beale is outstanding! Love James Morrison, as for being 'owned' on the track, no, the song is clearly written and recorded so the female vocal is the most interesting bit when it comes to the harmonies as James sings the same from first chorus to last. ANYWAY I thought Keisha was SUPERB. She keeps doing things to make me like her more and more, as I've never really been a fan, but she was incredible. Tonight = James&Keisha>Alesha>Leon>>>>>>>>>>Rest (though they were all largely good too!)

BBC1 Children In Need
I think it's a bit hit and miss, musically it's very good - TT/GA were good. Sugababes very good, Will Young too (though whats that funny 'need the toilet' dance he insists on doing.. looking forward to James Morrison. However thought the Corrie skit was lame, not that funny at all, Ashes to Ashes vs Top Gear could have been amazing but just went nowhere and the others are like three seconds long. Eastenders was fairly fun. Fair play to Ben Mitchell. Oliver & Hairspray very good, Newsreaders were fun, better for me this year as I know who they are now, working with them! I never used to watch the news so I only knew Fiona Bruce lol Standout so far was Alesha in my opinion... (and, apologies if it was just because it was on too early) but I just LOVE how people fail to comment that Leon has been otherwise the most vocally competent tonight, EASILY, after the nervy shambles of the x factor showing, this performance of Creative was truly fantastic.

X Factor: The Live Shows
Firstly, you have mentioned this point about 5 times, we know, and we get it. Secondly, with regards to the actual point, I said nothing with regards to how Eoghan looks, I am referring to his attitude and general maturity, which is to be commended.

Well after all that, my Dad got tickets too so I'm going tonight with him, woohoo!

X Factor: The Live Shows
When you say this, I'm confused, because you're criticising Eoghan but then later you criticise Diana too - which one are you saying is childish? For me, Eoghan is one of the most mature and adult youngsters going.

Same Difference - We R One
This is not helping my cause. I have spent the last two years improving my music taste, just a natural growth. WHY IS CHEESY POP MUSIC SO GOOD THIS YEAR!! THIS DOES NOT HELP MY CAUSE! lol Just amazing hahaha!

X Factor: The Live Shows
Oh and the result! Well, shocking stuff.. I assumed Rachel would safely get through on the back of bottom two last week and subsequent tears.. didn't expect Daniel to ride his luck this far though! Though to be fair as I said today's performance was not bottom two worthy! On tonights performances and my judging, it should have been Ruth & Rachel bottom two, so I was surprised but not altogether too gutted that with Rachel through, Laura was the other act in the zone. Final performances - Laura was okay although some of the ways she sang the notes were horrible - and dedicating it to her grandad like Austin last week made her look desperate. Ruth on the other hand was phenomenal. Started off shaky but when she hit the higher notes and really screamed it out she was sensational... she does amazingly well for herself when she lets the rocker out! Thought Ruth would be sent packing, but very happy Ruth stayed! ---------- As far as the outcome of the result, I'm actually happy because while there is no WAY Laura was 8th most talented and it is a real shame for her, I think she was Alexandras most direct competition, I think it was inevitable one of the three girls would fall early and I think there's every chance two of Cheryl's could make the final - so this gives Alex a much better chance in my eyes - let the hype start, please!

X Factor: The Live Shows
Okay, some points first! Video Sleek, stylish, simple, does it's job well. Love that it's a total Alexandra fest too! Mariah My friend Martin tells me that most of I Stay In Love was mimed so no vocal props there, fair play to her for doing Hero live and she got into her stride a bit later but the beginning was just awful! Dermot is getting better, no? He was really funny particularly with Ruth (what FOOL would break your heart? and the comment about castonets) Diana should have still been put up for vote to make it fair. In the circumstances she'd never have been voted out of the bottom two, she'd never really have been in it, but fair play to the others for agreeing to her getting a free pass. -------------------- My order may surprise this week! 01. Eoghan - Anytime You Need A Friend I'm so surprised people haven't been commenting on what I saw as a vast improvement! Even the fans seemed to think it was bad! Well it was all in tune (which is nothing to rave about but his other performances have not always been), there was surprisingly strong vocals, who KNOWS where they came from and some of the notes he hit though not entirely difficult were divine! I agree with Dannii that he sounded magic! 02. Alexandra - Without You Well she's always going to be there or thereabouts! I don't think that it was perfect by any means but still absolutely fantastic and keeping her consistency up! I love how you sometimes see her really nervy before and after performances, but during the performance itself, there are no signs, she just oozes confidence. I loved at the end when she swiped her hand defiantly - off topic, while Laura and Diana have annoying hand movements, Alexandra has got the 'what to do with my hands' thing DOWN! I also love that she is now coming out of her shell personality wise, the last two VTs she has been hilarious and bubbly. The last note of the song was amazing, too. 03. Daniel - Open Arms :o :o Daniel has never registered anywhere other than bottom for me, but this was EASILY his best performance, and credit where credit is due, he did not deserve bottom two based on this. The vocals were strong, he was confident, and while he didn't hit any amazing notes, he hit some really nice ones that were easy on the ear. I think he did well! 04. JLS - One Sweet Day They don't really put a foot (or any of their eight feet really) wrong, do they? Having said that, while there were no flaws, it wasn't overly exciting. Vocally I think Marvin did fantastically as Cheryl said, Aston not as good as we have heard but he carried the key change well. What was with Louis' delayed reaction to Cheryl's Westlife comment though?! By the way what I love about JLS is their connection with Louis, the 'craic', they are always having jokes with him and that bond brings their personality out... 05. Laura - My Endless Love Okay while I will never say that Laura is a bad vocalist, she clearly isn't, there are things in her vocals which make me annoyed. Last night was a mix of wishy washy, strained and shrieked vocals.. she wasn't hardly using the best part of her voice and when she did it seemed strained. Also I had a text straight after disputing if she played the piano or not.. even if she did it's not THAT rare Cheryl, calm down! I long for the days of her doing Cry Me A River' and 'Fallin', she seems to suit contemporary but she's peaked too early. 06. Ruth - My All Interestingly, when I spoke to my Mum after the show, she said it had been pretty rubbish and I said 'well, apart from one standout (I have since rewatched Eoghan and have decided it was the best, me and my friend Martin were talking a bit through it first time round) and she went 'who, Ruth?', so some people liked it alot obviously. I think she is poor sometimes on the lower register and she suits high, long notes - her vocal runs aren't always great either. i think she's been disappointing the last two shows which is a shame as she can really belt it out! And why was she rehearsing movement with Brian? She didn't even move! 07. Rachel - Against All Odds Actually quite sad to watch. Vocally it was okay, she hit some nice long notes, but the money note itself was painful.. I didn't find it very exciting, it constantly sounded like her voice was about to break, I didn't like the little girls cocktail dress, and I thought she looked like a totally different person, totally broken and defeated. It was sad, but that just didn't cut it for me. ------------ Overall 01. Alexandra 02. Diana 03. Ruth 04. JLS 05. Eoghan 06. Rachel 07. Daniel

RUTH LORENZO APPRECIATION SOCIETY
As Dannii says, they discuss song choices together anyway, I've had no mention of Ruth being annoyed with what she's had to sing. Dannii is a MUCH better mentor than Simon at least. Ruth is my third favourite, I think she's been disappointing last two weeks but her survival songs have been SUPERB. I actually don't think she's been struggling for votes (until this week obviously) as someone said, considering she's from Spain I think she is generally very well recieved.. and Knockin' should keep her safe for another two weeks!
-
lol@spurs
Fair play to Harry Redknapp - isn't that from 2 points to 12 in the space of what, 2 weeks?
-
Arsene Wenger
I must admit I don't get to see United regularly... so fair play if Anderson is usually quite good.. you didn't think he was today though did you? Even the United fans in the pub were screaming for him to be removed and were happy when Giggsy came on. It was a great game, some great football from both teams. I'm actually quite surprised after the last two games we pulled it out the bag.. though even without commentary it did seem as if we had some MAJOR luck on our side... props to Grandwicky for not going all out on the 'we should have had this free kick and this penalty route'... I guess that's football, every team suffers and gains from it. I still think United will be there or thereabouts come the season end.
-
Arsene Wenger
Yeah Bendtner was awful! But so was Anderson for them so ten men a piece haha! SO HAPPY, but I was in Twickenham so they had no sound on the football to please the rugby goers... was Van Persie suspended because of the Stoke game? Just benched? I think we missed him, though he didn't finish against Fenerbahce he still created... however Nasri had an excellent game.. and despite letting a goal in, Fabianski did better than expected, I literally $h!t my pants when Almunia hobbled off and he came on! GET IN! so happy!

The Eastenders Character Rate
Can I please just give Tracey the barmaid a 10 and be done with it? :D
