  1. Lemar has this funny way of not having much hype but having huge hits! I wonder where the album will chart after the last one went No.1!

:( She is so fit and deserved that award. I am glad she's leaving before she's totally typecast though, with that award too I hope she can bag some good other TV work

I brought that record Jack! Anything associated with shows like that will have the buyer tagged as gullible! I like having a record with Alexandra's voice on it, I am not ashamed nor stupid! WELL DONE LEMAR!

Yeah, I think that's a very valid point, he hasn't really brought anyone in the very recent times who turned out to be a giant of the game as with Henry/Vieira... however that said I think that he does a fantastic job grooming players as he doesn't splash the cash as some other clubs do.. and I don't know, I think if he was to get the boot Arsenal fans would go a bit Kevin Keegan, we're really grateful for what he's done and very loyal to him I think!!

Well I'm the only one in his quarters here, I'm just trying to deflect right now and avoid any hypocrisy whatsoever lol! Yikes, I don't see that what you quoted is having a pop at anybody?! After the match he is going to be asked why they didn't take all three and he has to comment on that, it doesn't even sound like a critisicm, just a statement/fact, that, if anything, makes Sunderland come off WELL....it's a positive for them if they didn't let Arsenal through... I reiterate, I'm sure he didn't say it was an unfair tactic..

Err what you just wrote is a compliment if anything... did he actually say 'its unfair, they shouldn't be allowed to do that'? Of course he won't have, he's a football manager, he knows tactics, he's not stupid. As for the other point, there's a difference between playing a little bit rough (which admittedly is not our focus and maybe we need to man up a bit) and playing deliberately dirty, which is what he is protesting. I know I'm the only one defending him, I'm not saying he isn't moany, cause he is, but he's also my hero!

Oh am I reading the discipline leagues wrong?! LOL. I'm sure I'm not, cause it's a maximum of ten points for respect to other players etc and then a maximum of ten points for cards (minus three for red, one for yellow etc). You're right that say, ten years ago, we were ALWAYS the least fair team in the Prem, but none of the current players were really about then.

Yes, that is true, but what he is saying is he believed we were punished for it while the opposition weren't. I don't think he has bemoaned our sending off. As far as ill discipline goes, I think you are well wide of the mark. That is the Arsenal of old.. under Graham/Rioch we were a gritty, badly disciplined team. We have improved so much in those stakes. Last year we finished fourth in the Barclays Premier League fairplay league. I don't know why the table isn't uodated beyond six games on the Barclays website, but as far as it IS updated for this year, Arsenal are top of the fairplay league - a league which takes into account the cards that have been shown, and the respect of the team to opposition and officials..

Well all the best do it, but Arsene is clever enough to do it in press conferences and not get charged with misconduct leading to touchline bans

Oh my god mate it was ridiculous. I was meeting some people which I arranged before I realised what game was on (IDIOT) so I said to myself I'd leave at a two goal cushion (actually before the match I said to my flatmate 'It'll probably be four-nil by halftime anyway' - whoops!) so I actually got out my chair at 3-1 and then suddenly it was 3-2, then seconds later 4-2, so I left. In a way I'm glad I did but least expected comeback ever? Yes.

I've never heard that nickname! Maybe I've had my ears closed to such lies! To be fair, he had a point against Stoke, one of the two offenders even admitted that their challenge was bad, if not deliberate. I don't know what he said last night about the referee but I don't think the ref was unfair. However if he'd complained again about physical abuse he'd have been right. One of their players was a right tyke and gave a deliberate elbow in the face. In short, Arsene could complain that the opposition goalkeeper touched the ball with his hands and I'd still support him. THE MAN IS A GENIUS

Oh I love Daughtry, that's promising, loved David on the show too!

I am literally distraught right now.. I joined a facebook group inviting me to the Spurs Relegation Party 2009  I loved Juande Ramos! What has Harry put in the water? I hope it's just a phase haha!
  14. My god yeah, I thought like 60! I wonder if he will pass on his nasty, cheating tactics?!

I'm not sure that even really illustrated what I was trying to say! Fall >>> Why Me, Why Now
  16. Adam posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Heh I agree Why Me, Why Now isn't the right single, Fall is wonderful, but would make a good FIFTH single for me!

I'd like to think even if Issues wasn't a hit they have done enough to get a fourth single, and they'd surely go with something more similar to the hits.. so I hope Work gets a release regardless!
  18. Adam posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
I didn't know that about Issues johnjo! What's nice about this album is that there's not that ONE song which HAS to be released or the album won't sell - I would have picked Chasing Lights last week of December, but I still think this will work. I hope it gets a better produced single mix, maybe a bit slower, as the bridges when they are singing over one another can get a bit messy. But it's a wonderful song. I hope they release 'Work' in about March/April - then they will have made fantastic single choices..
  19. Very cool, quite an exciting match of chances, but a frustrating one, Grandwicky. We should have three points, really.
  20. Oh... they were rubbish. Joke, yes I did wonder if you were 'other Jack'. Clue: I wrote 'This Hurricane' for you, but it was $h!t. SORRY!
  21. Well how very coincidental! Anyway, to make a point more related to you, YOURE RIGHT!!
  22. Good man! I'm not sure if I know you, already Jack... if I said Nate Brown would it mean anything to you lol

I haven't slated anyone?! I questionned the necessity of fourteen, which is what most people are doing? At the end of the day it's anyones prerogative to do whatever they like, doesn't mean people aren't going to ask questions!

Well of course he can do what he likes, but the fact he feels the need to tell us should mean we can discuss it, should we feel the need! And the point about the iPod is a fair one, I don't listen to things on my iTunes on shuffle so I'd get annoyed lol
  25. You're talking about two totally different things?! One can be the worlds GREATEST singer and still be a totally stale performing artist... now I'm not saying Leona's material is stale, but in my opinion, Leona only really suited doing ballad or midtempo numbers - she was at her weakest when trying to perform uptempo numbers like 'Lady Marmalade' - even in her new video two years on she looks uncomfortable knowing what to do to a faster pace song and spends the time just walking back and forward and/or shimmying her hips... don't get me wrong, I think Leona is incredible and indeed a better singer than Alexandra.. In contrast, Alexandra is more a package and in that sense she is more versatile - she looked, moved and sounded amazing during the ballad she's done this series - and where Leona is let down - she absolutely kills uptempo numbers too - she moves wonderfully, still sounds amazing and she just looks generally more comfortable performing these sort of tracks - something I wasn't necessarily expecting.
