Yeah because she wants the job, not very subtly either!

I think you mean James. I didn't want him in either, Suzie all the way!

As certain as I can be that Alex is doing Listen. I spoke to the person who runs Alex's facebook group and he text her, and she said Listen :)

Are we sure they are right? I mean maybe Alexandra has changed but a friend of hers told me it was Listen...

I'm tempted too... I like all the singles I've heard...

Absolutely brilliant, and I think it can be Estelle's second hit this time round thank goodness, after the poorly handled last three singles, because lets face it, there's more Estelle on this than Travis McCoy!

I think my favourites are Sara Cox and Greg James... I never realised Greg was so young looking until he was on the news the other day!

Like the video, nothing 'wow' but it's good, love the bit where she dives into the mic and he slides away and back again!

I know where they are coming from a tiny bit - second verse, start of 'It's over' or 'It's awful'? But where you're wrong is THEY ARE FIT!

Isn't there still a bottom two, it's just not down to the judges to choose from it... ? And Alias, yes, Same Difference did it last year, suited them down to the ground, Eoghan can't improve upon it, surely! Bad choice I think.

I think the verses will be ace, I'm worried for the 'too high' bit and the chorus.. the high stuff basically. But this is what we need - her to surprise us and push her boundaries again.. because while I'm worried, I'm confident in her ability.

Well it was my first post in the forum and I sort of... well... forgot  Don't worry, you can have your forum back.

I hope so, it can't be Breaking Free again, surely, so it could be a bad move if he sings a more unknown one and shows all the Mums who are voting for him that he isn't for them!

Oh bum, what does retro really mean? How old are we talking? To be fair the topic asked me for my 12 favourite songs, period!

None of them are as good a vocalist as Leona, probably no-one ever will, this isnt the 'lets find another Leona' show. Alexandra has the potential to be a fantastic popstar because she is a much more well rounded package than Leona ever was.

Also, Alexandra supports Arsenal

They are moving in together after the show, I was speaking to a friend of Alexandra's earlier, it's so sweet :D

I know my top 5 songs - they would be.. Maximo Park - Our Velocity Michael Buble - Home Kate Nash - Foundations Jason Mraz - A Beautiful Mess Justice vs Simian - We Are Your Friends. I was born musically fairly recently :P. As for the other 7, I'd have to get back to you. Probably an Elton John classic like 'Something About The Way...' or 'I Guess That's Why Thet Call It The Blues' in there too..

I heard somewhere, absolutely not sure if this is true, so don't quote me, that the bonfire scene was shot mainly for a remix video, so it might not be a wasted shot as it were. Video is quite dull but very classy indeed, they all look lush.

I don't even watch it regularly but there was no WAY Nicola was going, she's surely been the revelation - the 'who' of the series and yet so entertaining!

I think he just meant bottom two, as she has been 'bottom three' (I know that it is in no particular order as you say), last week, so he can't be thinking on those lines. Typo I think!

I know someone who makes a living from gambling, more Las Vegas than sports, but they did a politics of gambling degree!

I do small bets on greyhounds and horses if I'm passing, I have no clue on form etc, I just pick a good name and hope because it's fun! Ocassionally play roulette too, not sports betting so much, and the optimist in me had a fiver on Arsenal to win the Champions League last year :P I never bet much though. It makes me laugh when people bet alot and are $h!tting themselves for a whole match. One bloke had the correct halftime score of the latest Arsenal-Spurs match (I think it was draw at half time) and then had Arsenal to take the second half, he would have won a mint - and we all know what happened in injury time - was the only small comfort to the loss of points!

And who'd know more about mediocre than someone with a Bloc Party signature :naughty: 'Flux' is AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING, otherwise mediocity central! I really don't think you can call this years batch mediocre, there's a few who really could carve fantastic careers for themselves - I'm thinking Alexandra, Diana, Laura and Austin, result regardless which is a bit of a shame but relevant nonetheless. I certainly think it's the strongest bunch ever. I know you said it was the show that was mediocre but your insinuation was that that means the contestants are too! The Bloc Party comment was very tongue in cheek by the way, and before anyone dives on me, J clearly has an opinion so I'm just stating mine as a response, it's no crime!

The BBC website says this about Freema's character - "But fate intervenes to confront Jenny with choices beyond anything she could have imagined" - did she really do that in the first episode?
