I think that's a tad unfair, music of any genre is for anyone.. I wouldn't call Leon's a rat pack post at all, and as for Ray, it's not as if it's a forced image, he is one of the most passionate people for that swing style I've ever seen in the business, 90, 40 or 6 years old! I love that music and I can only have two years on Raymond!

Don't think like that! This album comes with some of the most un-Mcfly like songs they have ever done. The songs 'POV' and 'Corrupted' are indeed quite credible - check them out at least...

I absolutely adore this song and wanted Leon to win from his first audition, I'm so happy he's come out with a great song, albeit not the style I expected.

I'm worried for my favourite of this series (Alexandra Burke, got to Louis' house three years ago, sang 'Saving All My Love For You' and was generally amazing) because there's just SO much competition with the girls this year.. she's potentially world class but I'm scared she might not make it.. :(

Except Nikki who is usually brilliant and was RUBBISH :( I don't know why they had Lisa and Mario as one person though and not Luke & Bex? That way we could have had NADIA on the show (although I think she was upset last time about all the pen*s jokes)

Yes I too believe, had she have stayed, Lisa would have been crowned winner! But nonetheless, Rachel and Lisa are quite similar in that they are both genuinely nice women, so very happy either way!

A good, genuine, selfless winner! And the fact that she's a woman and that it's virtually unheard of in Big Brother says alot about what a decent woman she is! Get in!

I'd be happy either way, but vote for Rachel! It'd be lovely to have another female winner and a lovely decent genuine one at that!

I don't even own the album 'Change', nor have I heard any of it beside the four songs I own, but I reckon if they had released 'About You Now', 'Denial', 'Mended By You' and 'Never Gonna Dance Again' (in that order, possibly swapping MBY for a Christmas release) it would have been a hit album..

I wouldn't say 'Madonna won't be No.1 this week' but boy that's encouraging! You've got to think how quickly she's gone from nothing to No.2, and the more plays she gets the more download hits. However I am crossing everything for Estelle, I think she deserves it more than Madonna deserves her gazillionth No.1...

This would be amazing please, I want to know how much lead Estelle has (if any now). Estelle has been almost my favourite artist since 1980 and Madonna has been one of my least since I was born... I'm on the edge of my seat here!

I'm surprised at the reaction to this! I think most Lopez film's I've seen are fun, but a bit wishy washy whereas I thought this had balls, I think it's excellent!

I am not Scottish, nor am I a young girl, nor am I a Kylie fan, and I wanted Leon to win purely because he had what I considered to be the best voice, it's smooth, it's interesting and it lends itself perfectly to the music I love. I thought all three contestants had a great final night but I for one am SO HAPPY with the result!

Absolutely, I will download tonight. I have been backing him to win for weeks and am so happy! I actually don't know the original but I loved it from the moment he sang it and thought Rhydian's version was bland in comparison, despite having a very good final night otherwise!

I think this is my problem with him, to me his 'rousing, powerful vocals' aren't his strength, it's merely 'what he does', I'd love to hear him attempt something meek and timid sounding, instead of everything having to be boomed out, maybe it's just me but it's making all of his performances sound the same to me. As for 2 Become 1 Russ, I know I'm in the minority but I watched it again and still thought it was great :unsure: Nevermind :P

I'm glad someone said this was Rhydian's worst week 'by far' because I hate coming in every week and saying 'didn't like it', I feel like I'm missing out on something. But I genuinely think he is really unexciting and irrelevant to the scene today. Yes he could sell albums but not long term in my eyes. My favourite performances in order: 01. Leon - The Long And Winding Road 02. Niki - Fields Of Gold 03. Hope - 2 Become 1 04. Leon - Crazy Little Thing Called Love 05. Hope - We Will Rock You 06. Niki - Total Eclipse Of The Heart 07. Same Difference - Wake Me Up Before You Go Go 08. Same Difference - Any Dream Will Do 09. Rhydian - Somebody To Love 10. Rhydian - Medley L&WR was great, particularly in the last part (but not as good as Leon did last week, which says something about how good this week was... ie, not that good). Fields of Gold was beautiful, though having watched Nadine I appreciate probably not the best performance of it ever. I ashamedly really enjoyed 2 Become 1 though it did seem very high! Crazy Little Thing I liked even though Ray Quinn did pretty much the same performance before, it was more Buble'd up and I love Michael Buble (cant wait for next week!), We Will Rock You showcased some good vocal talent particularly in (surprisingly) Raquelle. Same Difference and Rhydian have both done MILES better than their performances tonight. I hope to see (though I'm not an idiot and know I won't be seeing this) Rhydian out next week, with a Same Difference vs Leon final. I would be happy to see a Same Difference vs Rhydian final though, as they are the two people have been talking about most - as long as Same Difference win!

This is really annoying me! Brenda wasn't in last years competition, and didn't win because the competition was much stronger in her year!

I don't agree with this, though. There's something fishy, ie it wouldn't surprise me if Simon had had words with Sharon but there's no way they would be as blatant as that, people would lose ALL faith in the show and it would become a joke.

I said quite clearly that Rhydian is nothing like Ray vocally, but in terms of the way I expect him to be promoted, he could be any one of Ray, Andy Abraham, Journey South, they won't market him right so for me he will be a pointless winner. As for the others you mention, they have made it off their own backs and won't have the reality tv tag to sting them a year down the line. If Rhydian wins and can come back with something special and different like Leona has done, I will take it back because I agree he is a spectacular vocalist. As for the result, it's completely ridiculous. Second time around, Beverley was sensational, second time around, Hope may as well have played the tape of the first time. Fair play if Beverley was the least votes, based on the first performance I'm not too surprised but why does Sharon play the 'deadlock is fair card now?'. It would have been used much better when the two acts in the bottom two were of a closer standard - for example Hope vs FutureProof who both showed potential at the time.

No because if anyone is going to be 'Ray Quinn mark two' it's Rhydian, not vocally, but they will release an album of covers straight away, release NO singles from it (unless he wins) and then a year down the line expect to do the same with yet ANOTHER album of covers and for it to sell well, which it won't, because he's from a reality show and, like G4, sales will decline despite being critically acclaimed. He is a quality vocalist BUT the relevance of an operatic singer doing covers from a reality tv show is zero zero zero a year down the line. I thought it was a QUALITY week. Beverley Undid all the good work last week, it was boring throughout and only the end saved it. Whoever compared her to Brenda is wrong in my book, Brenda never had a dull performance and I can't remember her hitting a bum note.. she'd make the final if she was in it this year, ahead of Beverley. It was good by normal standards but by tonight's, not good enough. Same Difference Wow, these kids are really rocking it! I didn't want them in the finals, now if they won I'd be ecstatic! SO glad they got the chance to show they are singers, because people see them bopping about each week and forget they are singing close to note perfect interpretations. Very strong big notes from both S&S Niki Beautiful acapella, a few notes were off and she still hasn't recreated the magic of 'Nothing Compared 2 U' but she did a solid job. Rhydian EASILY his strongest performance, it was truly sensational. Still don't like him, whoever said he was better than Leona is (again) wrong for me, she has so much more that's interesting to her voice, he's a powerhouse vocalist and not too much else. It was actually nice to have the Il Divo and Leona version of this to compare to (theirs I thought was far superior - but then that's also one of the best live vocals I have ever heard) Not 12/10 like everyone has been raving, but a solid 8 pr 9 Hope Wrong song choice, it was hardly a hit for Aguilera and though Pheobe tried her hardest, like Alisha it showed when she didn't attempt the big notes. They haven't got close to Back To Black again and I think they may go. Leon Woooooow. At the start I thought it was going to be terrible as I was not familar with the song and didn't think it particularly spectacular but it just grew and grew - and that vocal - amazing.
