Ack. He's back. Lead single premiers next Monday on Radio 2. The videos been shot and was directed by the very good Jonas Åkerlund. Word is another very catchy track from Mr. Mika *grimace*.

Her character has been wrecked over the last year, stagnation to the extreme. I could never imagine living in such a quagmire of quandary for so long. She's become self-parody almost. Perhaps the break will refresh her character a bit.
Oh and D: @ how this Syed/Christian storyline is going, poor acting and a clichéd script. It's just :/

For someone generally quite indie she's only gone and had a breakout European #01 with '"Jungle Drum". #01 in Germany, Austria, Iceland, Belgium and more VERY iPod advert music (the quirk, Euro feel to it) and like many ipod songs I think this could do well here. It's just a nice summery, happy song [:

The way I see it is that Noirin was just sticking up for herself ... I really don't believe she meant to 'throw him in it', she was just confused as to who said what about her and thought some $h!t stirring was going on which I think is understandable. I can understand why she was annoyed with Marcus too seeing as she has been such a good friend too him when no one else would really talk or bother with him and she just wanted to have a friend to support her. I don't actually think Noirin is even part of that group [who I actually hate, Kris and Charlie are both hideous] ... she's just her own person really. She may have gone a bit overboard with it though, bringing personal insults into it (I think?! I didn't watch the live coverage) and could've kept her cool a bit ... same goes for Karly.
I totally understand why Freddie stood up for Siavash ... but that's not the reason I don't like him. Moreso just because he annoys me in every way possible and yet people bum him to death like he's the best thing ever when really he's just ... not and that annoys me more. I don't MIND him actually, it's just some of the things he says and does really irritate me. I think Marcus, Kris & Charlie are all FAR worse than him. I just don't understand the major love!
That said I think Rodrigo & Sophie are by far the most genuine people in there ... also who actually said Sophie would go because she was quiet, Marcus or Kris? I didn't quite understand that bit.
Noirin had no need to "stick up for herself". A better way to deal with the problem would have been to go to bed and talk to the Karly and Kris quietly the next day. Instead she got Lisa, Charlie, Sophie etc all involved and created a baying mob, after promising to say nothing. This did two things, it got her another theatrical audience with the attention on herself (remember Sree's stolen alcohol? v.similar) and has also surruptiously turned Lisa et al against the others more. If she was being fair and balanced then she wouldn't have let things become so one-sided and decided her opinion. It's obvious who she likes and trusts, this argument proved it. She seems to thrive on drama surrounding herself and will do whatever it takes for it. She called Freddie a "freak" amongst other insults on live feed, again? Necessary?! No.
She obviously does side with one group in the house i.e. Lisa's gang, her nominations highlight this and when she speaks negatively about certain people (the non-Lisa gang).
If you totally understand why Freddie stood up for him (and this goes for others) why are you all taking pot shots at him? What's he done to get this negativity directed at him by you lot? I don't like him so anything he does (whether morally or socially correct) I'll take another opportunity to have a go? Bit ill concieved.

Some of you lot baffle me. You have two very different bunches of people who've formed a group. Noirin essentially went and dropped Siavash in it and he ended up being attacked by Charlie/Karly/Kris/Noirin/Lisa all in one go. All having a go at him, yet Halfwit steps in and sticks up for for his friend and that's wrong? Yet the other lot it's okay? All Freddie did was show his loyalty to a friend in admitantly very theatrical style (I blame the alcohol for that one). But if I was in a house with inividuals as unpleasent as Lisa's lot I'd be sticking up for Siavash also. Talk about a baying mob.
Siavash did handle it wrongly but he didn't deserve the treatment he got. Lisa's gang have already outcast him and belittled him (questioning how he dresses, calling him a liar). They bitch about everyone and are thoroughly unpleasent and negative yet people here actually LIKE Karly?! Lolzz a minute, she's a spiteful, rude and aggressive person. :/ Vile. Lisa's gang are deeply unpopular with the public for a reason. They exclude anyone that doesn't fit their "style" and talk atrociously about them. Kris is favourite to go for a reason. If they were all up next week I'm sure Lisa et al would all follow. Yuck.

I think you're missing your genres completely here...
La Roux is EXACTLY what La Roux are trying to achieve - plinky, electropop with flimsy vocals and even flimsoer lyrics.
Ladytron are a slightly heavier end of the genre that's all - but to say La Roux is totally different to Client? Utterly wrong - Client, La Roux, Ladytron, some Goldfrapp..... it's all electropop - how on earth can you miss this???
Client and La Roux are like chalk and cheese. Difference in age. A difference in style too add to that different synthesizers and totally contrasting lyrics. Just because they both use synth doesn't make them automatically similar. That's a bit of a generalisation no? More differences than similarities.
I love La Roux for her music but I can see she's quite evidently a product of the moment, what's in fashion etc We shall whether she can maintain her success with her second album. She's obviously talented so I expect more good stuff from her.
