it is so written by ed sheeran; tacky lyrics, clumsy busker-esque melody and a novelty element running through it all it’s v remiscent of ‘gallway girl’ in a lot of ways

given this spotify music era tho i hold no high hopes

i like her and like a few of her songs (not v me i know) but RESERVE JUDGMENT ppl until we know more / have heard

they’ve also come so so far from their debut it’s all really accomplished / well-executed / invisioned god knows what they’ll be knocking out in five years from now!!!

the two ‘me’ singles are loveee SO EXCITED for the album

sounding very poignant all of this is coming together as if it’ll be her ‘moment’ 🛐🛐🛐

this is such a BIZARRE single moment; it’s not exactly terrible but i’m totally confused as to why it’s being pushed as the follow up to ‘strangers’? this entire ‘raw’ ep is such a mistepping over-reach ;(

it’s BIZARRE that max would want to live on a square where he’s had two of his children fall to their death, is detested by everyone and has no family? tbh he’s sort of a burnt out character now, there’s only so much you can push and EXPLODE a character before you lose interest / would rather see them killed off

first time i’ve ever watched this (coz i’m staying at my nan’s) and ruti’s voice moved me to tears; she has a v hannah london grammar tone to her voice with a little other edge i hope polydor treat her well; she has a lot of potential... she would sound great on a clean bandit single
