  1. vanjie is/was good...for novelty! in the grand scheme she was a bit delusional and grating let’s not make a mountain out of the molehill that she is!

i cannot fathom how anybody could hate ‘froot’ and be a marina fan; it holds so much as a record, like it was the full realisation of marina as an artist; the singles were superb and it’s such a well rounded listen...
  3. i adore CHVRCHES and think they hold an immense amount of potential but everything from this era thus far feels very half-baked and lacking in vision— they are capable of a heck more

that’s v off kilter of carla it’s the sort of shit that would destroy a friendship for good... there’s not even the excuse of alcohol!
  19. the chorus reminds me of kings of leon! tbh it sounds like a bunch of different songs and not its own thing
  20. i’m sick and tired of the rubbish hair adverts she always has on tv with the dreadful monologues SAD!

well let’s hope it includes nothing we’ve heard yet then
  22. i do think it’s a double edged sword though; represent gay in ‘straight’ music and it’s a cynical ploy to cash in for the pink pound, don't and it’s ‘v gay’ artists only and exclusion from the mainstream
  23. i think the video was well executed; a gay couple in love and the nuances of all that. it’s very easy to be cynical in the world of eurovision i know but i thought it worked for the most part and it sort of fits with the direction eire is moving in with these sorts of social issues doesn’t it?
  24. so do you think this song deserves more criticism for sexist content then ‘blurred lines’?
