    Foundations is pretty Poppy...

    Yep but she's a singer/songwriter who's done a poppy song. She's much more deserving of a place in Singer/Songwriter when her music is all about lyrics rather than the music behind.

    Why do people bother buying 3 versions of the same single? :unsure: :wacko:

    What's so special about the 7'' format? Isn't it a bit oldfashioned? :huh:

    And... who is this Kate Nash? :D

    To the first point; to support an artist/ if you collect that artist

    7" are lovely and really nice to collect, plus they play with excellent quality :D

     

    Kate Nash is a singer/songwriter who dabbles in pop and electronic music. Her new single "Foundations" is proving very much more popular with people than was expected :o

    1. Garbage – Tell Me Where It Hurts (7-1-)

    This isn't HALF as good as their previous stuff. Great Sophie Muller video but meh "Bleed Like Me" had too many good tracks. I get the sense the band aren't doing this because they want to rather they're being forced to by contract :( [07]

     

    2. Gwen Stefani – Four In The Morning (4-11-12-10-5-4-1-2-)

    Another one who's done much better stuff than this, this is her worst single to date imo, she has FAR better tracks on the album imo :( [07]

     

    3. September – Cry For You (3-)

    They're good and I'm glad you like this :o Strong for a 4th single from a dance album imo. Best track so far :D [08]

     

    4. Fergie – Big Girls Don’t Cry (4-4-)

    Used to LOVE this but got bored of it now, the Jordan McCoy version IS better too imo, bad Fergie robbing it from her :angry: [07]

     

    5. Songbirds – The Weatherman (No Wonder I Feel Blue) (1-2-5-)

    I don't know what to say to this, it reminds me of my Nan though :/ [03]

     

    6. Lucie Silvas – Place To Hide (6-)

    Not heard, she's too MoR imo :( [**]

     

    7. Timbaland f/ Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado – Give It To Me (14-13-15-25-30-R4-8-7-)

    Ace! Such a tune, Nelly makes it tbh :D, follow-up single isn't as good imo [09]

     

    8. Cyndi – I’ll Leave My Heart (1-1-1-1-1-2-3-3-7-7-9-6-7-9-8-)

    #01 on the ytd? :o Possibly going off that chart-run haha, she isn't my thing again [**]

     

    9. Nelly Furtado – In God’s Hands (3-5-3-9-)

    Would have prefered something more upbeat tbh but this is non-the-less good and reminds me of "Folklore"; an album I still think you'd love tbh :o [09]

     

    10. Natasha Bedingfield – Soulmate (2-6-10-)

    Such a weak ballad imo, what HAS she done this era :/ [04]

    When she's churning out "poems" like this it makes you wonder if she didn't just pay to have those writing credits, her own literary work speaks for itself mate lykk

    I'm sorry but that line is AWFUL. 2 of the words don't even exist :/

     

    If you really believe that this is amongst the highest quality of poetry out there, then I suggest it's not us who needs to open up their minds.

    Yep. I suggest you read some Blake, Hardy or some Dickinson poetry to see what truly good poetry is :D

    Kate Nash has now been added to iTunes, if I were her label I'd have added her earlier in the week but MEH they're doing their thing. Since she's been added I don't think iTunes has actually updated :/

     

    Thought Avril would have been higher up by now given weak sales of the moment et al...
