I'm really shocked with the singles and album outcome with spice girls dropping to 7 in albums and only 11 on singles? Sure the midweek figures we get are right? Even Katherine Jenkins beat GA this week and there was no mention of the Eagles or Led Zepplin?

Come On Over is a great great album get it if you don't it was in the top 3 for months and number 1 for weeks aswell really made her into a superstar really, Up was a bit of a disappointment but I hope she'll have huge success next year

I would really hope that Rhydian doesn't win XFactor I just do not like him at all, to me it's like he's hiding behind a costume with his hair and make up, where has all the rest don't have a this armour plus I think Rhydian is bad for pop music he's more for theatre and wasn't good enough to be Joseph. I would like the Sugababes to be number 1 or the Spice Girls but some novelty would be a good laugh to make the christmas number 1 fun again and not boring with xfactor xfactor xfactor!!!!

I wouldn't say Britney or Christina album were big let downs and Kelly Clarkson's album got to number 2 on both sides of the atlantic which I think after Breakaway yes it's a drop in sales but Breakaway didnt sell huge at the begining and was a slow long big burner. Spice Girls can't say its a let down SELL OUT WORLD TOUR? how many girl bands do that? You got the return of Alicia Keys and Celine Dion, also Chaka Khan is doing well in US charts. Also Beyonce is pretty good had big success this year thanks to the Freemasons

I love the Sugababes 'New Year' got it on my i-pod and it still gets played on radio 1 at christmas it is about 6 years old? Mariah Carey I'm surprised wasn't a number 1 song and bigger

God it's nowhere near as good as Britney or Sugababes unfortunately but its Girls Aloud and its pure pop with their own sound throughout the album they aren't trying to be anyone else because they are good enough under their own sound. Don't think it will sell huge but think it will stay in top 10 until new year

I'm a big girls aloud fan and very rarely seen them sing live, think the first time in a long time they performed live at that awful Diva's program on ITV1, they've all got great voices. Though I think Sarah can go off tune a lot and also Cheryl struggles with her pitch like she did a bit last night. But then Sugababes I didn't think were great on CIN Friday night well the 2 were but Keisha was struggling at the low parts. I like Sugababes aswell they always sing LIVE. I've just downloaded some of the Girls Aloud album and it sounds good but I will obviously buy it tomorrow when iTunes decide to put it on there!!!!

I'm surprised that they are releasing the album before they release Call The Shots? They were good on X-Factor last night but think they struggle with confidence on their voices because they don't sing live often. And has for Louis Walsh comments on saying that Hope are better than the Spice Girls, newsflash who has sold out numerous world tours and sold millions of cd's world wide and had hundreds of number 1s? Louis I think is just jealous because Westlife have never cracked the world and he's just a prat

I think the Spice Girls sales will pick up next week has the cd is out physically in shops and they have done the performance on CIN which sadly they mimed but it was soooo good too see them together. Also the pictures of them doing the Kodak Theatre for Victoria Secret looked amazing so they are undisputedly the biggest girl band of all time and are definetly not going to sink, so forget about that matey!!!

Well just saw the Sugababes new video 'Change' on the hits and it is very different reminds me a bit of the video they did for Shape with some special effects but they all look very pretty and gorgeous. The best part is when they are all glittery but it is a colourful video and a good one. Still wondering who my fav girl band are at the mo out of Girls Aloud and Sugababes? Spice Girls are all time favs no doubt bout that Shayne ward does YET ANOTHER BALLAD AND a video that is all bout him trying to look all butter wouldn't melt

Well Billboard were quite nasty about her album and why not do it when there isn't 2 huge superstars releasing albums. Will this also take place for the Spice Girls album which gets released through Victoria Secret stores? Because it should be thats what I call fair play if not then it sucks and the billboard chart sucks

I think it's all to do with promotion afterwards, also the video's have to be good and also the song has to get played on radio and on tv. Many of the artists named above have failed to promote their singles afterwards to a great deal. Think Natasha Bedingfield is a good example where her first album was huge success but the last one wasn't because she was concentrating more in the US market which she has cracked. Then you can look at it on the other side and think songs that weren't has big as they shoulda been. I'd include Britney and Christina in this catergory, Gimme More should have been a number 1 and so should have Candyman but because they are struggling/moving on with their private lives they have failed to promote in the UK with talkshows and promo tours which they use to do.

Finally people who find the album very under achieving big time. I cannot believe people can say that there are fantastic songs on the album because they are all the same and there are no big huge songs on there. If you listen to Britney's new album then all songs are powerful and packed full of pop whereas Spirit you may aswell have had a brass band and have her sing because even then I'd think it would sell and people would say how amazing it is!!! Spice Girls should be selling more than that but I think it will increase hugely when they are over here doing their concerts and appearing on tv again

What and listening to it all day isn't enough to grow on you??????? In my opinion its c**p and overhyped

each one sounds the same, just can't believe shes brought out such a standard boring album theres no standout tracks and future huge hits. if any other artist with the same talent brought out this sub standard album it would bomb, its only cos xfactor shes around i'd wish they'd scrap xfactor and stop ruining the christmas number one race

Right people I have listened to Leona's album all day and must say I am rather disappointed, infact it's not the best debut album I have ever heard and wouldn't be in my top 100 of all time. Yes she has a huge voice I'm not disputing her talent for one second but the only and best song by a million light years if Bleeding Love. All the rest are middle of the road samey ballad songs sounds like shes singing the same song but just to a different beat. very disappointed considering the promotional adverts on tv claiming it to be the debut album we've all been waiting for, well I'll keep waiting for a top of the range debut album. If you want debut albums then listen to Beyonce, Amy Winehouse, Lucie Silvas, Justin Timberlake. I'm just glad I didn't waste my money on it because it's not worth the hype and am really surprised its going to sell 350,000 in a week because I don't think it deserves 35,000 in it's first week.

I think Kylie's song is really good, it's so different to anything else out there and after all she is like Madonna, always reinventing herself and her music. Would we really want another song that sounds like 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', that would be a disappointment And has to the Spice Girls, yes it's not their best song but it is a really nice ballad and it's the Spice Girls the more I've listened to it the more I love it plus it's for children in need so think it needed to be this sort of song, and i could never see them doing a p*ssy cat dolls type song or girls aloud/sugababes. SPICE GIRLS TO WIN FOR ME!!!!!

you'd think iTunes being the biggest download place they would be professional and update first thing Monday morning and capitalise on sales and profits? and customer service, maybe i'm being thick and missing something though

but then leona's single was on itunes after she performed on x factor the night of the world cup final to get bigger sales. her bubble will burst soon, look at shayne ward? seems like his record company doesn't care about him, leona had a year off and shayne should have capitalised on that but he's still not an established name in the world of pop

Itunes is rubbish, I tried Monday and Tuesday last week to download britney's album but it wasn't on there until wednesday, i emailed them complaining they replied saying that it's updated on a tuesday night. I sent a message back saying well it's stupid when singles are out on a monday and i could go buy it in the shops losing you money, she said i don't know what you want me to do!!!!!

Well I would expect Spice Girls to chart highly even on downloads alone has they are releasing the video tonight in 3 mins on BBC1 world exclusive which will generate huge promotion. Has to their album then it should be number one currently it is lowly ranked on preorders on Amazon with Leona at number 3 BUT the Spice Girls haven't started any real promotion yet and I expect when the world tour kicks off then sales will hopefully increase and keep them number one for weeks and have another million selling album. Possibly all 3 previous albums back in the top 40 aswell and also a big increase in solo albums
