Its a good idea becuase it means new songs can be added which are potential hits. And if people want to buy the album new buyers or old thats up to them, noones forcing them to part with the money, i find this argument ridiculous, there such as thing as free choice, its the same price and its got all the extra stuff which is a good deal. As proved by leonas album, going #1, high selling albums can still sell well.

In the short run for sales good move, in the long run bad move.. If she got a massive hit now, and the resulting hype, she will sell more on album two. I dont believe many will just get the album as they could go and get SP's version instead. Her management are forgetting theres already a version out there and many people dont care as long as the lyrics are the same its already rising up itunes.

Judging by that if it was released to UK itunes it would be #1 this week.

Completely agree, cant believe it!! it would do so much more for her profile and hype for the next album if she got another #1, then she would sell more of her next album... but this is syco thinking short term again not long term... how many cockups can we do to screw with leonas career: 1) Lets not release another single for 5 months, and kill her momentum and hype in the UK so we can get extra xmas sales for the album 2) as a result of leaving it so long and public demand, lets release FM to radio and music channels 2 months prior to release so people get bored and download illegally. 3) Lets NOT release FM when the competition are on sunday, lets release it monday so it misses out on a day of sales and cant catch the others. 4) Lets not release 'run' after huge public demand on the xfactor, lets leave it 3 weeks when the demands died down and xfactor viewers have either downloaded it illegally or are not bothered anymore. People who will buy the album will anyway, people who dont want to spend the money for 'run' will get it another way, simple as that.

Wont chart now... Itll be lucky to get #1 on 8th of december when take that is out. Such a ridiculous decision.

BTW, Run is #1 on irish itunes since last night... Has anyone got popularity bars for that? What a shame for the UK. Idiots!

They are absolute imbeciles!! Apparently they are not releasing the deluxe on UK itunes or digitally because they want people to get the album, they are releasing 'run' and the deluxe digitally on the 8th of december :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :angry: :angry: :angry: Sorry but are her management trying to drive people away in the current climate? Looks like theyve cocked it up again, not being released until midnight tonight. Eitehr that or they arent bothered about it as a single and want people to downlaod the album. Since the album gets them more money, and they are greedy i wouldnt put it past them :rolleyes:

It all depends, if she gives a killer performance and they release the deluxe Sunday morning with run available to download- (not a cockup like last time), it will easily go number one. This is an impact song.

It will help like most promotion helps abit, but not to the extent that doubters were crying out last year after went to #1. Also doesnt account for how she managed to stay there for 7 weeks after one performance :heehee: ! if its a good song it will help alot, if its not it wont.

Yep and just ask leon jackson, after his xfactor performance this week he wont even break top 2! in fact how many people have gone #1 after performing on the xfactor, i can only think of leona :rolleyes:

Stupid decision.. The Perfect scenario is to move it up to the 18th- second live show, when noone seems to be performing on this show! Then there would be no clashes with GA, performance or otherwise, and people wont get sick of the song on radio etc before wanting to buy it!! But oh wait, they prob want leon at #1 for longer than a week, so they probably wont do that! :banghead:

Fanbase means nothing, look at mycfly, they get a decent position then they disappear of the face of the planet come next week. This song will stick around the top 10 for ages- and you'll be eating your words.. sorry but fanbase cant do that!.. tbh i think your over estimating the size of leonas fanbase, its hardly on take thats level is it. Her fanbase wasn't the reason BL was #1 for 7 weeks or the reason BIT stuck around for a while either, sorry. And wow a singer that can emulate all these people at once when they all sound nothing alike.. wow thats some achievement. :rolleyes:

People complain that she only ever does boring ballads and 'woe is me' videos, never anything fun and uptempo. So she does something fun and uptempo to different to appeal to a different market and people still complain... cant win can she? :rolleyes:
