I Wanna Go / 3rd Single
Sorry guys but you should know by now never to use wiki as a reliable source of valid information even with the degree of desperation and denial you have about the death of her commercial career here in the UK. Wiki has now corrected their blatantly imbecilic assumption that the official release date to the PUBLIC of IWG, on the Capital NEW RELEASE page means EXACTLY the same as its official Radio release date which actually happened weeks ago and after which time its entire UK airplay is still managing to remain as dead as a DODO as the comparemyradio data shows all too embarrassingly: www.comparemyradio.com/tracks/Britney_Spears/I_Wanna_Go Wiki with now EDITED/corrected UK release list: https:/picasaweb.google.com/111769529387741260557/Desktop?authkey=Gv1sRgCJKXw6OTuaWfAQ#5629793289222301346

Make A Scene (new album)
But charting usually has little to do with an album's success, while contrastingly everything to do with chart longevity/run. As mentioned album sales are currently low - i think its been said she sell around only 3K from her album chart position.Given the chart runs/overall sales of previous Sophie albums and interest/memory of her outside gay culture has never been so relatively low now (eg even the lead single couldn't even manage a whole week in the iTunes top 300!!! (yes airplay was dire (although she did do some tv promo) but some degree of public interest would get more airplay from stations that seem to have less fascist playlist agenda) A few 1000 signed physical singles(?) bought by "passionate" fans but no real,significant, fresh interest. I have no idea, but from informed fans it seems just a few K total worldwide sales of an album :o is good news for an independent label/self financed act?

Dropped?
Kaushik as predicted - a lesson in the LIVING HELL of delusional fanatiscism...... Kaushik devoid of any ironic wit "explains to himself" why Sophie's new album "MORE than GUARANTEED, INSTANT Career Termination....in ONE EASY STEP!" is being universally ravaged by critics + how her next album (yes N-E-X-T, NO you weren't suffering an acute hallucination this "comedy act" thinks there is going to be a NEXT album from Sophie despite every possible indication of her career, over the past few years to (especially) the present acutely contradicting such a possibility (eg all relations to chart performance, non acceptance of todays single + albums buyers,media, to the general population as a whole(unlikely she is even presence in their consciousness/any degree of their concern ) combined with her lack of effort,interest + focus she now gives her music career with preference to motherhood as evident from the ridiculous/unfeasible number of delays/overall delay of release - WTF does she think she is, Kate Bush? - looks like Kaushik's degree of delusion is unsurprisingly highly infectious - poor Soph :snif: )will reverse this situation to further his insanity he already has *chokes on toast* exclusive knowledge of the NEXT album (5th) direction ("live sound"). THEN just when you are secure in the belief the threshold of sanity has been reached, he shoots a KILLER curve ball - who she will work with on (her) album #6 :wacko: from pinkpositiveprejudice;

Dropped?
+ The common belief is she is lying her arse off especially since this isn't the first instance of such behaviour from her as chart success has progressively deteriorated. She's not stupid - she must be well aware she's used up all the chances for her level of success + her music career is now dead as a dodo (i'm sure + hope she will find somewhere else to put her doubtless talents(she would not have lasted as remarkably long in pop as she has without them) to good use (as well as being a smashing Mum etc) - even if its behind the scenes like the similarly talented Cathy Dennis :wub: - but thats doesn't stop her from finding it hard to admit that blunt reality to her devoted fans. re: Kaushik - i can imagine him ending up on a mental ward if things progress as the neon flashing writing on the wall :(

Celebration The Album weekly sales
Neither adverts or price slashing can prevent Celebration's (album) fate of becoming an embarrassing FLOP, indicative of how low Madge's appeal + respect in general pop music culture has sunk, as it continues its free fall down the chart, PLUNGING out of the entire top 40 in this weeks midweeks. Excuses like poor sales (first week/upper album chart sales of the last few weeks made a joke of that and Celebrations 70+k first week which now look weak + pathetic despite its #1 position especially since it lacked much stability at that level of sales and this is clearly demonstrated in the biggest total selling albums of the year chart, as all the increasing number of REALLY big selling albums of the year throw Madge's hits album down that chart to an unremarkable insignificant ranking, especially since it sales increase has died to a trickle now, compared to the remarkable big sellers. http://www.planet-flipside.com/vboard/images/smilies/funeral.gif ...but OF COURSE Madge always makes a comeback with something popular,creative fresh and new - you only have to see her more recent past material like HARD CANDY + the new material on the Hits album to prove that ( just like 'American Life' took her career to 'another level')..and yes while she clearly doesn't give much of a toss about her music career anymore its just because shes bored of her current deal + just had to fulfil the contract, i mean it hasn't been long since she started making endless cheap budget videos (IF any video AT ALL) for later post album singles releases. Yes she will be so INSPIRED when she makes her first album of her new $$$$$ contract, that she will ditch all the time she spends with her family, boyfriend + on EVER INCREASING non-musical projects like Saving Malawi, Film making, organizing projects for the destitute and so on - to make the most killer quality comeback of an album on a label whose most important lucrative motive/primary set up is to market/sell tours ! http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/megamanson.gif
