LEON....ESSA! Sbarcherà questa settimana nelle radio italiane "Bleeding Love", lo straordinario successo di Leona Lewis, da 5 settimane ai vertici delle classifiche di vendita in uk. ( 03/12/2007 ) Se recentemente vi siete interessati a ciò che succede oltremanica, sarete sicuramente ricaduti sull’ultima rivelazione del reality-show britannico"X-Factor" l’equivalente del Pop-Idol americano. Si tratta di Leona Lewis che con il suo primo singolo Bleeding Love è da cinque settimane ai vertici delle classifiche di vendita e di airplay in uk. Il singolo in questione entrerà da questo giovedì nelle playlist delle radio italiane e anticiperà l’album di debutto "Spirit" che in territorio inglese sta riscuotendo un successo clamoroso. L’album ha, infatti, debuttato al numero uno e tiene saldamente la prima posizione in classifica da più di due settimane, con oltre un milione di copie vendute. Spirit è stato prodotto da Dallas Austin (Madonna, Pink, TLC), Jam & Lewis (Usher, Mariah Carey) e Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Céline Dion), con il sostegno dei due rinomati produttori esecutivi Simon Cowell e Clive Davis. L’opera è stata registrata a Londra al fianco di Steve Mac, nella città di Atlanta con Dallas Austin, a Miami con Salaam Remi e per finire a Los Angeles con Soulshock & Carlin, Jam & Lewis e Walter Afanasieff. Tutti questi produttori hanno già lavorato con i più grandi artisti mondiali come Aretha Franklin, Michael & Janet Jackson, TLC, Destiny's Child, Fugees, Usher, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston e Amy Winehouse. Per quanto riguarda la scrittura dei testi Leona Lewis ha chiesto invece l’aiuto della regina delle autrici americane ovvero Diane Warren. Ricordiamo che Spirit sarà disponibile nei negozi italiani a partire dal prossimo 25 gennaio.

I hope that, here in Italy, Leona's hit will be played on radio soon. Her voice (and the production too) is one of the most promising at this time. I'm sad the Whitney loses her way an Mariah loses her brilliance . Leona's music style is not a miracle but just a god quality effort in this times music bad taste. A n. 1 in uk charts is a good springboard for the Italy ( and the whole Europe) radio and music market.
