Updated with ALL of 2018's #1's!
  4. Looks like the Nicki and Cardi feud really boosted WLM a bit!
  5. Let's take a look at the actual chart though: https://soundcloud.com/charts/top?genre=all...&country=GB Very few non-urban tracks, but the streams aren't that high to make much of a difference.

No it wasn't, Pocketful of Sunshine also went top 5.
  7. #1 easily, but not the first week. Maybe #3 again.

  10. Miraculously, they're just stagnant. Only Rod Stewart's song was an instant A-List add.
  11. It's incredibly rare to find a full Radio 1 playlist this old. Some are available on old issues of the Music Week & Record Business magazines on the American Radio History website: https://www.americanradiohistory.com/index.htm You can find the playlists for August '88 on Music Week and parts of '81 and 1982 on Record Business.
  12. Yep that's all I have for now, including some from August of '88. There are also some Radio 1 playlists available on the net from parts of '81 to early '83. On the second question, yes it is! It was recently remixed 7 years ago too: 08tJk9luNaE

  19. Kygo doesn't do country music though. It's more Avicii-ish but even he doesn't do that type of country EDM anymore.
  20. Wasn't All The Lovers an iTunes #1 at some point?

The airplay charts before 1993 were based on station playlists (the songs that appeared in the most station playlists would rank higher than the songs that ranked in a smaller amount of playlists).
