  1. https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/n...ongs-coachella/ Other than some of the inaccuracies in their article, I'm hoping Hey Baby & Hella Good can at least hit 200K at some point.

^ The cut-off point is February 1st, 1994 as that's when Gallup stopped compiling the charts and the defined universe sales era started. In 1994 Millwood Brown took over chart compilation, Their new technology meant that all shops would now get EPOS machines and more shops would be added to the panel. By the end of the decade the chart return shops accounted for circa 95% of the market.
  3. Ugh, I want the OCC to reset Popular. It's never been this high on Spotify before. And that #11 peak looks ugly.
  4. LOVE the fact that Murder is a million seller already. Should be 2x Platinum soon!
  5. It's been #2 on Prime Video for days (behind the TV series Reacher) and the #1 movie for the last week.
  6. I totally understand why Lily's Somewhere Only We Know rendition is associated with Christmas (the John Lewis ad & music video and timing), but it's still odd considering the original by Keane isn't.

I hope the BRITs separate pop & R&B next year as they are 2 totally different musical genres.

Cut To The Feeling  Wow at In My Mind 2x Platinum, bigger than I thought!
  18. Very happy for the Sugababes! If only they could see an album boost at the very least. Happy to see Ellie Goulding getting some radio support for Like A Saviour too.
  19. Nice to see Afraid To Feel cross the million mark already!
  20. I wonder if it's because they're under the "S Club" moniker instead of "S Club 7". I would think Alive & Say Goodbye would be top 20 otherwise?
  21. 09 February 2023 S Club 7’s Official Top 20 Best Selling Singles We look back at S Club's biggest hits - has your fave made the list? Having already conquered the world with the Spice Girls, 1998 saw music mogul Simon Fuller form a brand-new pop juggernaut. In April of that year, S Club 7 exploded onto the scene via CBBC telly show Miami 7. A number 1 debut single, Bring It All Back, followed; with the group going on to score three more chart-topping singles, a Number 1 album and two shiny BRIT Awards. Now, we can reveal Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee, Jo O’Meara, Paul Cattermole and Tina Barrett’s Official Top 20 biggest songs in the UK ever. There ain’t no party like an S Club Party, after all. But before we get into the full list, let’s take a look at the group’s Top 5. 5. S Club Party Released: 1999 Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart units: 487,000 The group’s fifth biggest song is school disco staple S Club Party. The lead track from their one-off TV special Back to the ‘50s, S Club Party instructed the ‘ghetto boys’ to ‘make some noise’ and coined the phrase ‘hoochie mama, show your nana.’ True lyricism. With its iconic second verse introducing each member of the group (‘wanna see Bradley swing, wanna see Rachel do her thing?’), S Club Party has been steamed over 16 million times in the UK to date. 4. Never Had A Dream Come True Released: 2000 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart units: 853,000 The Official single in support of BBC Children in Need 2000 gave the group their second Number 1 that same year. The track knocked Destiny’s Child’s Independent Women Pt I off the top spot, and has been streamed over 22.5 million times in the UK. Never Had A Dream Come True remains S Club 7’s only hit in the US, and boasts the longest UK chart run of any of their singles (25 weeks, fact fans). 3. Bring It All Back Released: 1999 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart units: 1,036,000 The theme song of Miami 7, Bring It All Back saw S Club debut at Number 1 on June 13 1999. The song shifting a staggering 190,000 copies in its opening week, the highest of any of the group’s singles, and even denied Madonna of a chart-topper. Yep, Bring It All Back beat her single Beautiful Stranger to Number 1 by 55,000 copies 2. Reach Released: 2000 Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart units: 1,103,000 It might’ve been held off Number 1 by Sonique’s It Feels So Good back in ’99, but Reach remains an S Club classic. The soundtrack to the band’s second telly series LA 7, this track peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart and has shifted over 1.1 million UK chart units since. It’s also racked up in excess of 53 million UK streams; making it their most-streamed song of all time. 1. Don’t Stop Movin’ Released: 2001 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart units: 1,137,000 The band’s biggest seller is the mighty Don’t Stop Movin’ – a song so amazing it was Number 1 twice. Shifting 178,000 copies in its opening week, Don’t Stop Movin’ ended Destiny’s Child’s reign at the top with Survivor. The following week, Geri Halliwell reached the summit with It’s Raining Men, only for S Club to return to Number 1 two weeks later. Don’t Stop Movin’ won the group a BRIT Award for Best British Single in 2002, and boasts over 35 million UK streams to date. S Club 7’s Official Top 20 biggest songs in the UK revealed: POS TITLE ARTIST YEAR PEAK 1 DON'T STOP MOVIN' S CLUB 7 2001 1 2 REACH S CLUB 7 2000 2 3 BRING IT ALL BACK S CLUB 7 1999 1 4 NEVER HAD A DREAM COME TRUE S CLUB 7 2000 1 5 S CLUB PARTY S CLUB 7 1999 2 6 HAVE YOU EVER S CLUB 7 2001 1 7 TWO IN A MILLION S CLUB 7 1999 2 8 YOU S CLUB 7 2002 2 9 NATURAL S CLUB 7 2000 3 10 YOU'RE MY NUMBER ONE S CLUB 7 1999 11 BRING THE HOUSE DOWN S CLUB 7 2000 12 I REALLY MISS YOU S CLUB 7 1999 13 SHOW ME YOUR COLOURS S CLUB 7 2001 14 FRIDAY NIGHT S CLUB 7 1999 15 VIVA LA FIESTA S CLUB 7 1999 16 EVERYBODY WANTS YOU S CLUB 7 1999 17 SUNSHINE S CLUB 7 2001 18 GONNA CHANGE THE WORLD S CLUB 7 1999 19 IT'S A FEEL GOOD THING S CLUB 7 1999 20 RAIN S CLUB 7 2015 https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/s...-singles__9147/ Very pleasantly surprised they have 3 million sellers :o Don't Stop Movin' & Reach should hit 2x Platinum later this year.

I'm baffled Merry Christmas is in the Song Of The Year category. The song was released in 2021!

It sold 155K in 1993. I'm not exactly sure what the January 1994 sales are but they should between 20-40K as it sold 197K in the entirety of the 90s.
  25. Very interesting to see where the Christmas songs would truly rank. This is why I'm glad this chart exists.
