Ahhhh nooooo, ah well at least my 12 for 'Andra Chansen' is decided :kink:. EDIT: Oh wait, Hadise :o where's the generic ethno-pop love Buzzjack?!

SUPER EUROVISION '12 // 2010
Oh, I see :P it's just it says 'Andra Chansen' above Apricot Stone, as if a song so incredible would not secure enough votes to sail into the semis :kink:

SUPER EUROVISION '12 // 2010
WOO! Also does anyone think that 'Aphrodisiac' is the successor to 'Always' in terms of ethno-amazingness :kink:? NOOOOOOO, 'Apricot Stone' Nothing like a political song with a killer pan flute. :'(

Azerbaijan 2012
OMG this is like a 12th rate 'Drip Drop' Not sure it quite justifies my unadulterated Azeri looning continuing for a 4th year :kink:.

How much of a Eurovison bellwether are you?
Only started properly following in 2008, as in prior to that I wouldn't listen to all the entries or really pay much attention to it :P. Although I probably would say that 'Molitva', 'My Number One' and of course 'Wild Dances' were my favourites in their respective years. 2008 - Armenia - Qéle Qéle 4th Place 2009 - Azerbaijan - Always 3rd Place 2010 - Azerbaijan - Drip Drop 5th Place 2011 - Estonia - Rockerfeller Street 24th Place IT WAS ALL GOING SO WELL.

The Battle of the Cypriots!
Cyprus' best entry for quite some time :o and Greece's best since Kalomira :kink: but I've got to give it to Greece this year.

SUPER EUROVISION '12 // 2010
It's up there with the sublime 'Always' in terms of generically ethno-pop sounding masterpieces <3. 2k10: As with the previous year, Azerbaijan and Armenia run away with it in terms of quality, (Armenia's 3rd year in succession in the top 2 for me :kink: Thank God Emmy stopped all of that 1-2-2, Azerbaijan have since bettered that with 1-1-2, although I'm starting to realise that my sheer love of that country may be blighting my judgement) 'Drip Drop' is one of the most polished songs I've ever seen in Eurovision (minus STAGING GRG) and Armenia took the reigns of generic ethno-pop from Hadise and AySel before them to bring us the incredibly political 'Apricot Stone'. 'Satellite' was a worth winner and really did a lot for the reputation of the contest. After these three the quality is a little thin; Finland were ROBBED of a spot in the final, a fine piece of folk music if ever there was one, same for Croatia, I would've almost bet my house on 'Lako je sve' coming top 15! (That said I did place a £20 bet with a friend that Safura would beat Lena.) Denmark had a horrendously cheesy song with an absolutely dire performance, although it still has a place in my heart. Similarly cheesy 'Je Ne Sais Quoi' will always be revered as well, although after these 7 beauties, I can't think of many songs I really liked that much :( Unlike 2009 where songs I was giving no points to would still be considered an 8/10.

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
I'm leaning towards 'Whitney' returning - I've not watched it myself, but the fact that it leads the weak Wednesday night lineup quite effectively (whilst not falling too far below the anaemic NBC scripted average) at the moment I'd say it gets a second shot. That said I think its future will come down to the wire. I would say that 'Office' and 'Parks' are the only comedies definitely safe for next season, with 'SVU', 'Smash', 'Grimm' and 'Parenthood' being the 'safe' dramas. '30 Rock' and 'Up All Night' should get renewed, but NBC has some really promising comedy pilots ('Upwardly Mobile', 'New Normal', 'Friday Night Dinner') which I can't really see flopping, so there might not be much space.

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
NBC Midseason Averages (Jan - Mar) It seems like NBC now has 6 shows they can count on a 2.0+ rating for and I would assume that when 'Parks' returns after 'Office' that number will rise to 7, which would hopefully guarantee 'Parks' its place as #3 scripted show on NBC for the season :D! Its season average is 1.88 for anyone interested ;). 01. The Voice 6.1 (exc post Superbowl Episode) 02. Smash 2.8 03. The Office 2.7 04. The Celebrity Apprentice 2.2 05. The Biggest Loser 2.2 06. Fear Factor 2.2 07. Awake 1.8 08. Law and Order: SVU 1.8 09. Parks & Recreation 1.8 10. Up All Night 1.7 11. Parenthood 1.7 12. Whitney 1.6 13. Are You There, Chelsea? 1.6 14. Grimm 1.6 15. 30 Rock 1.6 16. Harry's Law 1.2 17. Chuck 1.1 18. The Firm 1.0 19. Rock Centre 1.0

Parks and Recreation
This season has been ridiculously good - there were a couple of rocky moments early on and I didn't really enjoy Louis C.K.'s return (too ott) but this show really is the finest on network television (Parenthood and Suburgatory are also up there this season <3).

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
Network Primetime Averages 2011-2012 (Sun-Fri) 1. Fox - 2.86 (8.1m) 2. CBS - 2.82 (11.4m) 3. NBC - 2.43 (7.1m) 4. ABC - 2.16 (7.8m) 5. CW - 0.62 (1.5m) Nights in First Place (Sun-Fri) 1. CBS - 52 2. Fox - 42 3. NBC - 20 4. ABC - 12 I calculated these myself and I think they're close to accurate, I'd hate to see NBC's results without football :P But they're looking likely to end the season at number 3. Minus Football + Superbowl boosted Voice; NBC's average would be 1.64 (5.2m) :o.

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
'Smash' at a 3.8 managed the 17th highest rated premier for a scripted show this season; NBC's second highest in the 2011-2012. Amongst new shows it ranks as number 6. I doubt NBC will be too displeased :P! CBS Two and A Half Men 10.3 CBS 2 Broke Girls 7.0 ABC Modern Family 6.1 CBS The Big Bang Theory 5.0 CBS How I Met Your Mother 4.9 CBS Mike and Molly 4.8 Fox New Girl 4.8 Fox Napoleon Dynamite 4.4 CBS NCIS 4.3 CBS Rob 4.1 ABC Grey's Anatomy 4.1 CBS Criminal Minds 4.1 Fox Family Guy 4.1 ABC Once Upon A Time 4.0 Fox Glee 4.0 NBC The Office 3.9 NBC Smash 3.8 Fox The Simpsons 3.8 CBS NCIS: LA 3.6 Another note; 'Two and a Half Men' hit a season low of 4.2 last night, meaning 'Modern Family', averaging a 5.5 so far is within 0.1 of claiming the title of the top rated scripted show of the season (for a second season running). However, 'The Big Bang Theory' has out rated both since midseason averaging 5.4, compared to MF's 5.3 and 2.5 Men's quite alarming 4.4!

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
In all likeliness it will - it's number 2 for NBC's scripted shows since midseason with a 1.8 (just shows how terribly things are going at the moment!), as well as the fact that it needs another season to reach the magic 88, so I'm sure it'll survive <3. 'Parenthood' on the other hand is averaging a 1.7 since midseason and much further from syndication (13+22+18=53) compared to (6+24+16+22=68) for Parks :snif:. Both shows should be averaging much better though - they're probably the two finest shows on broadcast TV! (imo ofc :P)

US X Factor 2012
Fun little ratings update, the semi final results show pulled a 2.8 - tying with a repeat of 'The Big Bang Theory' and being beaten (2.6 to 2.8) when they went head to head...

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Delighted for Leona =D I'm glad to see she's not 'finished'

Parks and Recreation
There were moments of brilliance in Season 1, but all the characters were too 'Office-esque', Leslie tried too much to be like Michael Scott, when the show moved away from that in the 2nd season it really started to pick up.

Parks and Recreation
I try to cleanse season 1 from my brain  season 2 is where the magic started

Dolly Parton
OH and another thing - I can't think of any other singer in history who can convey emotion in their voice as well as Dolly <3.

Dolly Parton
'Coat of Many Colours' is such a beautiful song <3 one of my favourites of all time I think!
