I think it was pre-empted because of Baseball, infact all of FOX's scripted shows bar 'House' and 'Terra Nova' aren't airing this week. :\
  2. Naa, 8pm is the real tough slot on Thursday now - the post 'Office' slot is great for building shows, it helped 'Parks & Rec' pass 3.0 a couple of times last year and I think 'Up All Night' is much more accessible than the aforementioned. It's obviously got potential, it's unusual to have a rookie show anchoring a night (and doing it quite successfully).
  3. Just started watching 'Up All Night' - absolutely awesome so far! Glad NBC have found somewhat of a hit, they should move it to Thursdays at 9:30, I think it could pull a 2.5+ after 'The Office'
  4. Oh poor old Leona :(.

'Parks and Rec' is certain to be renewed - it rates well (in terms of NBC) in a competitive slot. 2.1, 2.1, 2.0, 2.1 may look shabby but comparing it to 'The Playboy Club' 1.7, 1.3, 1.2 or 'Free Agents' 2.1, 1.4, 1.0, 1.0 means it's very unlikely to be cancelled :P by the end of this season it'll be at 68 episodes - so we should get at least one more 20 episode season. Fans of 'Community' on the other hand might have a reason to start getting worried - if this season's order is only 13 (it might be 22) then I can't see the show surviving to S4.

This series has just been too much banta to handle! Leslie forever <3.
  7. http://images.wikia.com/suburgatory/images/c/c5/Dalia_Royce.jpg SUBURGATORY <3.
  8. Glee down 30% from last year :o and I believe it's fallen to #14 on the top scripted shows :o this time last season it was #1. Just shows how much damage the dire season 2 has done.
  9. 'How I Met Your Mother' is killing it this year 4.7, 5.1, 4.5, 4.5 - these must be its highest ratings ever :o? Good retention for 'Terra Nova', but it won't save it, a show that expensive needs to be 'event' viewing - it could get a 2nd season, with a severely reduced budget. The Office 7.17 3.7 Whitney 6.12 2.9 Up All Night 7.43 2.7 Law and Order: SVU 7.44 2.3 Parenthood 5.70 2.2 Parks & Recreation 4.22 2.1 Community 3.96 1.8 Prime Suspect 5.87 1.7 Free Agents 4.35 1.5 The Playboy Club © 4.17 1.4 Harry's Law 7.58 1.2 Looking at NBC's scripted shows - it can't be too long until 'Free Agents' gets the chop also. 'Harry's Law' will probably survive the season given it's a 2nd season show - but nothing beyond that. I'm hoping 'Parks & Rec' can stay above a 2.0!

That ending was so sad :( not quite as moving as season 1 though. I'm assuming the 10 part Season 3 will be the final part, an actress like Laura Linney will be difficult to keep on board for long, imo. She was robbed of the Emmy, no offence to Melissa McCarthy but 'Mike and Molly' is beyond dire, it should've been Linney or Amy Pohler!

Tammy: Guess I'll be heading home.
Ron: Catching the number twelve bus to Satan's butthole?
Tammy: Actually I prefer the number 69 train to Humpsville Station. Tammy 1 is a God, but it's gotta be Tammy 2 everytime!

GREASTEST SHOW OF ALL TIME. NBC despite being generally dire really have the best comedies.

RACHEL 2k11 <3 <3 <3 Also I got the final vote prediction right, go me :P Thoroughly deserved final 2, they were my favourite players all season (along with Dani) I just wish the jury would have given more credit to Porsche - no big moves? She helped send Jeff AND Jordan packing!

I think Rachel V Adam would be 6-1 in favour of Rachel, possibly even 7-0. Porsche V Rachel would be 4-3 to Rachel Porsche V Adam would be 4-3 to Porsche (5-2 if Rachel could convince Brendon) Probably totally wrong, but still :P.

I AM <3 Porsche keeping Rachel was one of the best moves of all time just because they're both amazing :kink:. ALSO, Rachel is more likely to take Porsche to the final 2 than Jordan would have been, maybe Porsche thinks she can't win, she just wants to be guaranteed in the final 2?
  16. When I went for the open day, the admissions lady for humanities (for history) said they might look for 8 A*s at GCSE :o I'm carrying on French, English Lit and History to A2 and if I manage to replicate my results I should be able to get A*AA (although I need to get my French up a bit).

The return of the duos twist was clear manipulation from the Grod-monster to keep Jordan and Rachel - and the returning houseguest twist kept Rachel in the game. Also an endurance POV in the final 6 was a little bit dodgy, I can't recall another endurance veto in the past? This is probably the 3rd season in a row where Grodner's manipulation has altered the series - the 'Diamond' power of Veto in BB12 and the farcial Coup d'Etat in BB11. Still, if it keeps Rachel in the game it's fine by me :kink:.

I actually think Porsche and Rachel might take eachother :o - anything to keep Adam out of the F2.

I've just started watching BB8 for the first time - her reaction to the memory wall was genuinely the funniest thing I've ever seen on BB btw, if Adam goes next - BEST FINAL 2 EVER <3.

Also, Jen BB8 is possibly the best HM ever, I must say.

  22. Does anybody know how this will impact the competitiveness of Edinburgh for English students? I was considering applying there, but I don't think I have good enough grades at GCSE, so will this lower their entry requirements for English students :P? If so, it might be worth applying to!

Not loving season 2 so far, although I haven't managed to find links for the last few episodes - killing Marlene was a big mistake, I assume it was initially meant to be a 1 season thing. Season 2 has definitely shifted from dramadey to almost pure drama and we must all remember, that's what killed United States of Tara :o.

AND OMG I HOPE THEY TELEVISE BRENCHEL'S WEDDING! The Royal Wedding 2k11 would be thrashed by the union of two of the greatest people to ever have lived.
