Faith schools being better is propoganda imo, a way of the government justifying its segregation. You can find much better state schools - and private schools.

I must say I didn't watch most of it :P Prefer the studio, not so keen on the presenters - the news stories seemed as dumbed down as on GMTV, Adrian Chiles is pretty awful - like when he said to Garraway something like 'oh, don't you just love the entertainment news' - really unprofessional - and also his 'that's enough of that!'. Not really very 'news-y' imo.

It's missing two things - John Stapleton and Kate Garraway Although, all things taken into account I think it was probably a minor improvement on GMTV

But you can't really blame the people who can afford these schools - most people would probably take advantage of it if they could, it's just the system itself that's flawed. Perhaps getting rid of league tables would help? I would say abolishing indpendent schools, but I doubt that'd make much of a difference - money and school performance go hand in hand, even in the state system. If two children come into school at the same level at age five, but one is middle class and the other is working class - then, on average, by the age of 7 the middle class child will be a whole level ahead in both maths and english. It's a tricky situation and a very difficult cycle to break.

American Dad's fourth season was absolutely appalling, but the fifth season has been a huge improvment imo. Family Guy's latest season is probably its worst as well. However, American Dad is undoubtedly funnier - the third best comedy on TV imo. Behind '30 Rock' and 'Modern Family' - did either of those make it nto this list? ¬¬
