  1. I somewhat like it, closer to best song than worst, definitely :P
  2. Yeah, my votes are definitely happening, probably at 11:30am tomorrow :P That said, I've listened to the songs so I could probably vote now :o
  3. I've never really watched golf before, but I've been quite into this open so far :o It's more exciting than you think :kink:
  4. He's definitely my favourite - and I think he's really underrated, he beat Raikkonen and he hasn't come off too badly against Alonso (except in a couple of races :P)
  5. :o I really like this album, it is the first M.I.A. album I've bought though.

I just can't believe it's possible that a show can have such an amazing first 2 series' and then just go to being one of the most unwatchable things on TV :S. I think the mistake was cutting out all the interactions between the 5 main characters as a group.
  7. For me it's: 1. Massa 2. Rosberg None of the others really matter :P

    01. 30 Rock 02. American Dad 03. Coach Trip 04. Big Brother 05. Futurama 06. Family Guy 07. Big Bang Theory (used to be #1, this show's gone down hill (n)) 08. Waterloo Road (another show that's gone to the dogs, mainly because of a 20 episode series being dragged out over 9/10 months ;p) 09. The Apprentice 10. Doctor Who Honourable mention to: 11. Glee (the only show I can think of that showed a ridiculously sharp quality decline in the space of one series :P)

DS also hated Brian, Pete and (to a lesser extent) Sophie The only winner they've really supported has been Rachel :P
  10. Have I missed something or did she already represent them in 2010 :kink:?
  11. * Shortest recovery time reported for full recovery: (3 days). * Longest recovery time reported for full recovery: (10 days). :P The newspapers are obviously sensationalising everything to sell papers, playing on peoples' emotionsis always a good way to do that.

  13. This season has been such a drag for me, idk if it's the increased grid size, the influx of boring tracks at its peak or the new points system, but F1's lost a bit of its magic for me, this year :P Incidentally, these would be the standings under the old (and imo better) system 01 Hamilton 52 02 Button 49 03 Vettel 47 04 Alonso 41 05 Webber 40 06 Kubica 33 07 Rosberg 29 08 Massa 26 09 Schumacher 13 10 Sutil 12 And constructors: 01 McLaren 101 02 Red Bull 87 03 Ferrari 67 04 Mercedes 42 05 Renault 35 I prefer the old points system because it's easier to compare it with previous years + the smaller numbers make the race for the title seem 'closer'

:P Same thing as with the cricket team, it's overshadowed by a bigger sport Football World Cup > Cricket World Cup Wimbledon > Golf That said, they did cover the US Open on 5 Live quite well, I felt.
  15. She should be ok, with treatment the survival rate is 80-85% :P
  16. Thanks for the comments, glad you like it :cheer:
  17. It's waay better than Family Guy, just ordered the Volume 5 DVD from Amazon  I can't believe I didn't notice it was out :P

JJ to win the task and replace with Ife Caoimhe V Ife would be an epic eviction, imo.
  20. What's with Sarah's Ke$ha hair ? tbh, I'm a bit horrified by that video, she seems far too innocent to be up to any of those shenanigans.
  21. I actually think Shabby's safe - Caoimhe's the favourite and I think Sunshine's at risk too.

Murray didn't do too badly today, shame he came up short - still, let's not forget he still has a decent chance at the hardcourt grand slams :P And making it to consecutive Wimbledon SFs isn't bad for a player of his age. I'm hoping Berdych and Zvonareva take the titles, but - like most people - I expect the opposite :P
  23. nickthenoodle posted a post in a topic in Sports and Fitness
Yeah, but she controlled herself really well in the SF, there were a few moments I thought she was going to lose it, but she really managed herself well - she's made it 6 rounds without freaking out - here's hoping she can make it 7 :P
  24. I'm moderatley impressed with this album, it's really consistent - to a higher level than Lena's too - probably about 7.5/10.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_GWJatwb-WlI/SO4s0HQmcPI/AAAAAAAAEw8/lPCnhHMcEjA/s400/zvonareva%20moscow.jpg It's absolutely wonderful to see Vera Zvonareva in the final, I remember watching the 2008 YE Championships and thinking she'd finally overcome her troubles, this was backed up by a SF in Australia - but then just as she reached a career high of #5 it all went wrong for her and she really slipped off the radar, so it's wonderful to see such a talented player finally making her first grand slam final and I really hope she can make a match of it - because I don't think she'll get many more chances to win a major title, to add to the one she took at Indian Wells in 2009.
