Are the Single Charts predictable anymore
I agree with you. I thought Adele would hit No.1 and who knows if Nickelback will hit No.1? I think the charts are more interesting now with the addition of downloads. Before,a song entered the charts at No.1 and went out of the charts fairly quickly and you pretty much knew who the number one would be each week. Singles very rarely climbed up the charts a few years back, they entered at their peak. Basically if it didn't enter at the top, it wouldn't hit No.1. Now singles do climb so it's harder to predict their peak. Singles are also having a better chart life. Look at "Chasing Cars" for example. I Know it's down to downloads but i think an unpredictable chart is much more interesting.

Could Nickelback's Rockstar eventually peak at No1?
Well they topped the album charts with "Silver Side Up" in 2002. I would love to see them have a No.1 single too. :naughty:

Billboard end of year top 200 albums
Supprised to see Daughtry at No.1. I'm not a massive fan, but he has proven that he was the real American Idol winner last year. The bands' sales speak for themselves. Some of my faves from 2006 re-appear in the 2007 list: 69. Incubus - Light Granades 83. Three Days Grace - One X 127.Breaking Benjamin - Phobia

"Be Here Now" by Oasis is the fastest selling album of all time in the U.K. It was released on a Thursday instead of a Monday. In 3 days it sold 663,389 copies. I got this information from: www.everyhit.com under the section "recordbreakers".

Skunk Anansie
I was a big fan of Skunk Anansie. I bought all 3 of their albums when they first came out. I also bought most of their singles. Too many good songs for me to pick a fave. Unfortunately i couldn't get into the solo albums Skin did. I did try but they just didn't do it for me. Skin was much better in the band.
