iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 18th November 2012
I think I would have been surprised if Girls Aloud went to number one with this song really. I like it but it's not their best. Top 3 would be good.

PREDICT: Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris - We Found Love
With the cover being quite different, I thought the single was going to be a new sound but it's not. It's a great track, i reckon number one. It amazes me how this woman bangs good tracks out one after another. Everything she touches turns to gold.

The Saturdays - All Fired Up. Where will it chart?
When i first heard this song i thought it was appaling. After the first listen and on very loud, it's actually quite brilliant. I thought it was generic but it isn't, it has something extra. Having said that, quality does not account for chart positions unfortunately and judging by the poor success of notorious, i think low top ten 7 or 8. Anyone who thinks this will get to number 1 is crazy. The saturdays are not number 1 artists, not anywhere close.

iTunes Chart: July 2011 (III)
I really like the JLS song, i think it's their only song i have liked actually.

iTunes Chart: June 2011 (I)
She's an international artist who's working really hard on promoting her album globally. I think we can forgive her for maybe not quite understanding all the release dates etc.

S&M is doing quite well already - it's incredibly catchy but an awkward one to sing along to :-/

HMV plans to close 60 stores
It doesn't surprise me really. The internet is perfect for music. Infact in a lot of cases, you can pre-order a cd and you'll get it in the post before it even comes out in the shops. And it's usually cheaper online and you don't need to make a special trip just for a cd. HMV will probably go bust soon. Makes you realise how much we were being ripped off a few years ago when a new album was £14.99 in the shops.

Yes, i think it's been out a while.

Alexandra Burke - The Silence (6th Single)
I don't think it's quite as serious as trying to sum up someone's "sides" as such. If you really dislike someone, it can be amusing to see them flop. That's all.

I'm not really a fan of elton but his version of this song is much better than ellie goulding, and the version from moulin rouge is even better. Really surprised how well it's doing but good on her i guess.

Pointless "Deluxe" Editions
Look at it this way, if a deluxe edition is double the price, hardly anybody will have it and in 50 years time, it'll be rare and probably worth 20 times what the normal CD is.

Take That Progress sales
Some people think over 3 million! wow!

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
I bloody knew take that would do this. There was no way they weren't going to make this song no1 at some point, they always go to no1 with their lead singles. I bet they are no1 come Sunday

David Guetta ft Rihanna
If they say they like Rihanna, they like Rihanna. Just because they don't like everything she does, doesn't mean they are a hater. I don't like everything my best friend does but that doesn't mean i hate her <_<

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
Its playlisted on r1 but i don't think it has a video yet.
-
David Guetta ft Rihanna
I cant remember what i voted but people probably voted 1 because it's Rihanna.

TT Single. The Flood (2010)
Have to say, i agree with this. And i actually like take that.

Firework is doing really well! Didn't expect it to reach top 3 on itunes tbh.

Cheryl is faling pretty fast. Probably to do were her Sunday evening behaviour :D
-
Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit)
The sample is ok but the rest is pretty bad. It's not horrendous but it's not exactly catchy either. If they are on x-factor, probably No1 as they do have a big fanbase who would probably love crap like this. Without x-factor, i'd say top ten.

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
I like how everyone is amazed that mcfly have got into the top five on itunes - wow, how could they have a song that does well on downloads? lol Nice to see Rihanna increasing. I hope she makes no1 for a second week.
-
TT Single. The Flood (2010)
The flood is ok but all take that songs sound the same to me. Not melody wise obviously but they are so predictable and not very original. It will still be no1 this week though i imagine.

iTunes Chart: November 2010
So pleased that katy perry is at no2, i never thought it would get that high :D

The Saturdays feat. Flo Rida - Higher
I agree, why do they have to over push everything?

iTunes Chart: November 2010
Rihanna has a very nice lead now. Much deserved no1. I think total sales will be higher than Promise This at the end of the year.
