The trouble with charging £1 is a lot of people would take advantage and buy multiple copies. An album at £10 usually means it's less than £1 for a song, it's hardly a lot of money is it? Also, most people who download illegally would still do it even if it only costs 10p for an album.

Diana was beter but Firework is a better song.

Glad to see katy perry doing well with firework. Her performance was ok last night, i don't see why people are acting surprised that her vocals were shakey though. Has she ever been seen as a good vocalist? It's always been about her songs and personality in my opinion.

I went for no1, everything Rihanna touces turns to gold. It's such a popular song at the moment. The only thing stopping her is Cheryl and a x-factor performance, but i still wouldn't be surprised if RiRi took no1 and i hope she does. The video is stunning btw.

These charity singles are cheesey beyond belief, i know it's for charity but you do kind of wish people would just give a quid or two to the charity itself rather than buying a cd that will probably not get listened to and get thrown away in a year or so. I think someone should set a charity up to stop x-factor contestants destroying classic songs, how about that?

A lot of people also predicted leon jacksons flop - and that actually happened. It's not about giving him a chance, it's about the likelihood of him being a success.....which doesn't look too rosey.

It was so obvious that Joe mimed last night, certainly in some parts any way. Not that it really matters, what matters is that it's a rubbish song in the first place. I thought pixie would do a little better.

Although i really like the new sats song and think it is their best single yet, i am still surprised how well it is doing at this early stage.

Two slots per show is quite a lot to say how many live shows there are.

A year or two ago, i would have agreed with you but the x-factor isn't as snobby about who they have performing on stage now. The Saturdays have had a good few top tens and are the biggest active girl group in the country right now. I also think this would make a good performance on the show but we shall see. Don't they have to pay to appear on x-factor? The label probably wouldn't fund it.

It's definately better with Flo but i think it sounds strange at first when you have been used to the song without him on it. He definately adds something to it. I actually think this is their best single but it's a second single so obviously it won't get to no1, can't believe people are even thinking it's possible, with or without nadine and cheryls songs. I went for top 5 and total sales will be good.

The saturdays are obviously going to do very well with this single. 35 on itunes before it even hits radio?

Number one because it's Cheryl, but no way will it be bigger than FFTL. Like people have said, it's good that she has gone for a riskier track. It's alright, probably a grower.

Well, looking on the positive, atleast she is gaurenteed to be top 3 come next Sunday.

It does annoy me sometimes when the xfactor dominates the charts in the way it does but to be honest, if they are promoting a song by your favourite artist, its usually a very good thing. I mean i wasn't complaning when Meet me halfway went to no1 after the BEP's amazing performance. As for the contestants, yes it ruins the christmas number one but really, i think when they go onto releasing new music, they are in the same boat as everyone else. The point of the x-factor is that it finds the talent that the public are looking for - we can't exactly complain if the public then go onto buying the music they release aswell.

A few months ago, i'd have laughed from dawn til dusk if someone told me olly murs would beat katy perry to no1. I hope it doesn't happen.
