Singles used to be collected by a lot of people, myself included but when downloads started to become popular, cd single sales went down and because they went down, shops moved them from the front door to the back of the shop and some even stopped stocking them so sales went down even more. But they are definately a fan purchase now, physicals are not for casual music listeners. The last 5 physicals i bought, i've never even opened the case, let alone put the cd on.

Yeh i would be very surprised if Olly Murs was playlisted. I would expect Alexandras new single to be playlisted soon on the basis that it's very good but having said that, so was All Night Long :(

I am pleased the sats are playlisted even though the song is just ok. Great to see rihanna there too, i didn't even know it was being released :o

I think bittersweet did deserve to flop personally, i used to really like SEB and i actually have a few of her tracks on my ipod but i thought bittersweet was a very poor song. I also agree that mika's last album effort was pretty poor and deserved to flop. His first album was very good though, particularly No happy ending.

I agree aboute Mini Viva I wish, such a cute little pop track.

haha, i knew everyone would love it when i saw diana was playlisted. I am surprised commander has made it to b-list actually, i think it's a poor single. I do like kelly rowland though.

Her number one was so cheap on the sales she got, what was it? 24k? For a new album thats really poor, especially as oasis managed 102k last week. But what a flop, i'm really dissappointed.
