🥇 1st Faye Tozer (16 of 20 Votes To WIN) So in the end, it’s Faye Tozer who reigns victorious and is undoubtedly Buzzjack’s favourite member of Steps, with 80% of the final vote. And it never really looked to be in doubt! Faye is the perfect all rounder. Our triple threat - She can sing, she can dance and she can act! But I think on top of all that, she comes across as one of the most genuinely kind, sweet and humble people, not just of Steps, but of all her pop-star peers. So congratulations Faye, the people’s princess

Undoubtedly the voice of the group and without them, I do think they’d struggle somewhat and definitely lose their iconic Steps sound. Nevertheless she put up a good fight after picking up a fair few votes throughout the earlier rounds and finishes in a highly respectable second place! Well done Claire! ❤️

Having read and adored the book a few months ago, I can’t wait to go and see this. The reviews so far however aren’t the greatest, oop! For the book readers, there is a bonus chapter which doesn’t feature in most of the books, which does again contain further twists! (Apparently the film doesn’t include this though, sadly!)

Yes and no really. If I don’t particularly like a genre of music, I’m unlikely to suddenly start enjoying it because its in this competition 😂 That isn’t to say a few songs haven’t vaguely pleasantly surprised me along the way though. But they probably aren’t songs that I’ll ever return to.

It’s a tough one because I’d say a song like ”You Spin Me Round” would be a tough song to beat… but then again I wouldn’t really be that interested in hearing any other DOA songs if they were to return, so would the winning act’s future prospects come into consideration too?!

The groups category is so dead on arrival that I can’t even muster up any energy to even have an opinion about it

Well I’d say most of that above list are singer/songwriters that lean more pop, in the sense that they tend to release quite commercial and generic radio friendly songs. To me that is “pop” music, which I feel Damien isn’t. I don’t really have an opinion on the old man as I don’t know if his music at the time was the “in” pop sound or not.

I’m not sure I’d class Damien Rice as Pop in any way shape or form really. Singer/Songwriter acts belong in the alternative forum if you ask me (I’m aware no one did 😂)
