On This Day… In 2000 Steps properly kicked off their third album era and released their first single from Buzz, Stomp! The song was their second and last number one hit, and their only one to debut straight at the top of the charts! Perhaps my favourite part of Stomp (and the video particularly) is how checked out Lee was If you notice, whenever the video pans to him during the chorus, he isn’t singing along whatsoever. This comes after his alleged strops after he was barely being used in Steps’ songs, so he refused to “sing” along as his vocals weren’t present 😂
