Lee_J11

well at least you weren’t to blame I guess (for once )

Party in the bush x

On This Day… In 2001! Steps released Chain Reaction on 24th September 2001, making it a quarter of a century since its release! The song debuted at its peak of #2, losing out to Kylie’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (which was on its second week at the top!) I must say I did love this song and the video was pretty fun too! Definitely one of their better covers in my opinion!

FAVE 11 Years & Years - All For You 10 Ultravox - The Voice 09 Fontaines D.C. - Jackie Down the Line 08 Texas - I Don't Want a Lover 07 M83 - Kim & Jessie 06 Bananarama - Look on the Floor (Hypnotic Tango) 05 Sade - Your Love is King 04 Vengaboys - 1999 (I Wanna Go Back) 03 iamamiwhoami - chasing kites 02 Depeche Mode - Ghosts Again 01 New Order - Age of Consent LEAST FAVE Sadly, not the greatest bunch overall for me. Years & Years was the clear winner but I did discover a few new pleasant surprises in the form of Ultravox and Fontaines!

Yeah the sales were much higher than I thought too! But I guess first week sales in that period were always quite high, compared to the “highs” we see these days! As for their #1s, I too of course would’ve liked them to have had a few more (especially after the It’s The Way You Make Me Feel drama) but tbh, I’m just happy they got one at all!

Sorry to have missed the results as I was out tonight but not this Rigga Morris x (Congrats @dandy* and @Spiceboy I guess 🤭)

Looks like this round closes later tonight - any more last minute votes are welcome ❤️

Starting again with the girlies. FAVE 11 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Me and My Imagination 10 Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault 09 Agnes - EGO 08 Robyn - Hang With Me 07 Leona Lewis - Come Alive 06 Adele - Rolling in the Deep 05 MARINA - Froot 04 Milica Pavlović - Crna jutra (Balkan S&M) 03 Dido - Take My Hand 02 Jessie Ware - If You're Never Gonna Move 01 Kate Bush - The Man With the Child in His Eyes LEAST FAVE Something about that Sophie song I have always loved so I couldn’t not 🥰 Thought I’d continue the Zara ragdoll trend! A largely decent bunch again. Agnes certainly redeemed herself this time. Marina and Milica were pleasant discoveries. Dido I semi enjoyed but it just took a little too long to get going. The latter two not so much x

Thank god that DROSS is finally gone. Florence.

The way BB just gave Johanne and Sam 12 points randomly for their task win, just to ensure her immunity, when the other games were just given 1-7 points I giggled I must admit

Glitter And Gold Possibly my favourite album track from Tears On The Dancefloor ❤️

Comparing Lisa to Queen Emma is quite frankly sacrilegious

I get that some of her cringey moments are iconic. But she kinda lost me the moment she announced at some kids awards (I think it may have been Smash Hits Poll Winners Party), that they’d named their new album Buzz after Buzz Lightyear. In that moment, a part of me died x

I’ve gone with Lisa too. Obviously I love them all but Lisa’s always been a tad cringe and comes across a bit desperate at times. And negative point for sodding off to Dubai x

The Vengaboys sacrificing their place in the competition with a flop so they can triumphantly return in the live shows with all their bangers still to play

I saw a few of his reels a few days ago. One of them started off with him teasing some Hasta Luego which was most pleasing

HRVY fighting for his life already I see

Adele is going big again but let’s be honest, at this rate she’ll be “going big” in practically every round, she has enough massive hits to cover most weeks 😂 (Also yay for me and my imaginations appearance ❤️)

Round CLOSED

5th H (9 of 18 Votes) 4th Lee (10 of 20 Votes) Following H getting 50% of the vote in round 1, we have a similar outcome in round 2 with Lee being eliminated, also with 50% of the total votes! Lee’s elimination confirms that a harness and a 6-pack can only take you so far, as we are now left with the 3 women! But who will fall at the final hurdle and fail to make the final 2? You decide!

Shouldnt be too long to wait

I think most of the themed weeks were the live shows were they not? I assume most of the earlier rounds will be free reign… famous last words 😂

So it wasn’t even really that close between Zara and Tove after all then! Marina coming second with an album track bodes well for her!

FUFN & BYBMH both being top 3 💀 Unconditional

Its flop week so every song needs to have sold less than 5 copies. (so I can advance )
