A*Teens could do Super Trouper but ABBA could never do Upside Down x

Everyone is fine to post their scores in this thread and chat amongst yourselves about your thoughts / discoveries 🥰

Bananarama - Last Thing On My Mind Bee Gees - Tragedy Elaine Paige / Barbara Dickson - I Know Him So Well Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know Diana Ross - Chain Reaction Benny Andersson Band - Story Of A Heart Delta Goodrem - Dancing With A Broken Heart Jenny Silver - Something In Your Eyes Five Star - The Slightest Touch VINCINT - Hard 2 Forget Worlds Apart - Here and Now Mollie King - In The Dark (To The Beat Of My Heart)

So here we go then, a new rate for the forum and this time, something a little bit different! As we all know, Steps have released MANY a cover in their time, so it only feels fair that we honour those artists who R Claire, Faye, H, Lee and Lisa stole from! You may well know some, if not all of the original versions of the songs Steps covered. But the goal is to find out what Buzzjack’s favourite one is! Please try and vote purely based on the merits of the original song and try not to let your love of some of Steps’ cover versions cloud your judgement! XX Bananarama - Last Thing On My Mind XX Bee Gees - Tragedy XX Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson - I Know Him So Well XX Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know XX Diana Ross - Chain Reaction XX Benny Andersson Band - Story Of A Heart XX Delta Goodrem - Dancing With A Broken Heart XX Jenny Silver - Something In Your Eyes XX Five Star - The Slightest Touch XX VINCINT - Hard 2 Forget BONUS: XX Worlds Apart - Here and Now XX Mollie King - In The Dark (To The Beat Of My Heart) Rules Rate the songs between 00-10. .5 scores will be allowed. You may give ONE 11 if you so wish. No -1 votes are allowed. Please post your votes in this thread. I will be posting the videos to each song in the post below for you to listen to. Obviously feel free to use other methods if you so wish. - The bonus songs are not available on streaming so will have to be YouTubed - The Mollie King song is a demo, and potentially a remixed version at that. I was unable to find the original version on any reputable websites but I didn’t want to exclude such an icon so here we are! - Whilst Steps were part of the Thank ABBA For The Music single , I didn’t want this to turn this into a glorified ABBA rate therefore, I chose not to include these. If this rate is a success, there may be a part 2 featuring album tracks as there’s plenty of those too! Closing date : Saturday 3rd October

The way that keeps coming up on my “suggested posts” on Instagram. They truly called me a 🚬

I think it’s safe to say LGAHOMH is the runaway winner this round anyway so, time for round 2 methinks 🤭

Aww I was tempted to submit an option this time but they fail the geography test unfortunately! Would LOVE be to a judge again though #JustSaying

Mother Charlotte! The entire performance was iconic tbh!

Urgh not Cain I always think this category is a bit unfair if there’s multiple actors from the same soap nominated. The Corrie and EE vote will have presumably been split, giving the Emmerdale vote an easy ride. Sue / Gareth were robbed 😭

If you love a good drama, you should definitely give it a whirl, it was a heartbreaking story. I’m assuming it’s still on ITVX. Also yay for gogglebox… but didn’t really care for any in this category! 😂

Had a feeling I Fought the Law would win, it was a very good drama ❤️ (shame for Heated Rivalry though!)

Omg purr

Oh really! What year has he gone into, reception?

Sienna up to 2 on Spotify! Ashe up to 15

Congrats Uhsting and thanks Chez for hosting a wonderful competition! Pleasantly surprised with my 9th placing. I never really expect to do overly well in these things but my hope is that I reach the top 10 so on that front, I’m pleased! And not to get all mushy and sentimental, but to be honest, I’m just happy that a lot of people seemed to like my song. If people continue to enjoy a song I’ve recommended outside of the contest then that’s a win for me and makes me happy 🥹

@Viper* has been inconsolable since my departure I’m sure! And listening to Human Touch. A truly delightful and underrated bop ❤️

We don’t tolerate such pessimism in this forum! We just need @Spiceboy to whore it about a bit. Shouldn't be too hard

So can you confirm that the song with the MOST votes will leave the competition at the end of each round?

Well we should be voting for what we think is the least overrated… so the “overrated” ones ideally should all be on the fewest votes. So I hope we aren’t getting rid of them as that’s the point of the poll 😂

A BOP (But why is this the actual SPIT of Toy-Box’s Tarzan & Jane) 😂

Sounds like a good night out

Oh wow thank you @Lindsey. <3 I'm glad I was able to return the favour slightly with a decent score for Ashnikko and her mermaids with hole

Wait, @Spiceboy was Cher all along??!!

Eeee I’m shaking like a sh!tting dog Cooking some Chili Con Carne in anticipation. And following the only recipe that matters x
