Here we go again then! Following the completion of the original cover version competition (where we crowned Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know), we are now back for round 2! And this time, we’ll be focussing on Steps’ album tracks that were ever so politely borrowed and recorded! You may well know some, if not all of the original versions of the album tracks Steps covered. But the goal is to find out what Buzzjack’s favourite one is! (Yes @777666jason I am looking at you in particular!) Please try and vote purely based on the merits of the original song and try not to let your love of some of Steps’ cover versions cloud your judgement! I will be posting the videos / streaming links for each song below in due course for you all to listen to. Obviously feel free to use other methods if you so wish. - The Anders | Fahrenkrog song is not available on streaming so will have to be YouTubed - There are 2 versions of You Make Me Whole’ on the list as they were seemingly released at very similar times. So in the interest of fairness, both have been included. - As the whole album is essentially a load of (naff ) covers, you’ll be glad to hear I’ve decided not to include anything from Light Up The World Enjoy and get rating :) Closing date : Saturday 31st October

Oh to be those pillows x

And his ranking shall be affected accordingly

I can’t see past a Calvin, Sam, Sam and maybe Tom top 4 (if they play their cards right) but of course I’m sure we’d all love to see an upset of some kind!

I didn’t realise you were fluent in Swedish?

There truly is NOTHING going on between Harry’s ears is there

Jessie 4 points away from the upset of the series

Well if she did, she’d be dead on arrival if so 💀😂

Basic long necked blonde twinks 😂 Poor HRVY catching strays at this point

Well she is certainly renowned for that

They did

Tbf any song that got swapped with either Story of a Heart or Light Up The World is gonna have their average position obliterated 😂

Don’t we all hun

I think It’s The Way… will be the next to hit as milestone (32 million) in the next week or so…. Then Scared should hit 19 million shortly after. It’s annoying I can’t see what anything below the top 10 is streaming as there could be others hitting milestones we aren’t aware of!

Before I start, I just want to say how close this round was. I scored them all out of ten before ranking them accordingly, and they were all within 1.5 points of each other! FAVE 09 Calvin Harris & Sam Smith - Desire 08 Tom Grennan - Boys Don't Cry 07 Sam Smith - I'm Not the Only One 06 Sam Fender - Get You Down 05 Darin - Fantasi 04 HRVY - hesitate 03 Damien Rice - Cannonball 02 Roosevelt - Montreal 01 Gary Numan - My Name is Ruin LEAST FAVE Always enjoyed Desire. Much prefer it to Promises actually! Tom and both Sams also delivering decent bops. The Twinks™ both kinda under-delivered for me here. I fear HRVYs now in slow decline whilst I much preferred Darin’s previous Swedish entry. The key change was appreciated though! The bottom 3 were also pleasant enough. I just wish Roosevelt’s song kinda went somewhere as it had some promise! Even Gary’s was pleasant (and his best so far) so kinda sad to still have to put him last!

Both iconic. But R Paris is a classic

A last minute entrant to the competition, everyone welcome Miss Jessica Ellen Cornish
