Yeah i assume they used to do it so they could say “reached #1 on iTunes” due to there not really being any new releases out yet, whereas Fridays would have all the new competition to race against. But the flip side was that any small chance of creeping into the top 75/100 was pretty much sacrificed, which as chart fans, is very annoying 😂
