Realistically it’s the only Steps song I ever hear on a (straight) night out. So the younger generations will most likely know of 5678 and may even choose to listen to it (ok I can dream!) I can’t imagine many people under the age of 20 would really know or recognise Loves Got a Hold on my Heart or Say You’ll Be Mine for example. But also playlisting will definitely help. I’m sure it’ll be on some Spotify party playlists alongside DJ Casper, Whigfield and the likes!

Hate to say it but Athena was largely dreadful, so no big loss with her. Bionic was a bit underused, so I don’t really have any strong feelings towards him, positive or negative. Though he's seemingly a local (north east) lad which is a shame, so that’s about the only thing I can say for him 😂

Just got back from seeing this and I absolutely loved it… and these kind of films aren’t usually my vibe so that’s saying something! Considering it was virtually 3 hours long, it didn’t seem to drag at all. And I agree with @Spiceboy that it certainly got properly going once the gang reached the cave! 👀 From that point onwards, it was pretty much full steam ahead! There were a few moments I had to shield my eyes with my hand mind you, guess I’m a little bit squeamish but I suppose it wasn’t too gory or anything (it’s only a 15 afterall!) But all in all, thoroughly enjoyed and would absolutely recommend to anyone who’s still undecided about seeing it!

I also have gone with BATB. To be quite honest, i can barely even remember their version, that was how little attention i gave it 😂

I’m still annoyed that From London to Berlin is nowhere to be seen on streaming 😂

I wouldn’t say they are my favourites by any means but there’s California by both Chappell Roan and Amelia Lily, which I at least vaguely enjoy to some extent 😂

So here we go then! Our mission to decide the best Steps solo/duo single has started! I have included all of Steps’ post-split charting singles, and as a bonus, have decided to include Claire’s debut solo single to make it a round 10 songs. So get voting for your least favourite single!

Surely it’s gotta be between 5678 and Tragedy? By far and away their two “biggest” songs with the general public… but I’d say most hardcore Steps fans wouldn’t put either of them anywhere near the top of their list.
