A true tragedy that this didn’t win tbh I still adore the song btw, but it just seems to get all the attention when there are PLENTY of others that deserve it more!

I can neither confirm nor deny that I have a copy of it on my laptop

Think we can guess which way round this one’s gonna go! In anticipation of said result, I wanna share this quite funny (and appropriate) picture I came across on Instragram earlier… 😂

Artist Forum Top 5 for this week 04/10/2026 01 152 Kylie and Dannii Minogue 02 128 Steps 03 100 Madonna 04 77 Dua Lipa 05 57 Taylor Swift Rebounding slightly this week back up to #2, and not a million miles away from #1! Well done everybody ❤️

Don’t let your wife hear you say that 😂😂

And so we move on to the last one for now…! 9th. Delta Goodrem - Dancing With A Broken Heart70.5 Points (Average: 6.41) UK Chart Run : N/A Biggest BJ FAN: @Viper*(8) Biggest BJ HATER: @Spiceboy @Padamic_Tension (5) Next up, beating Worlds Apart by 0.5 points, we have the current Strictly darling and 2026 Eurovision MOTHER, Delta Goodrem. Dancing With a Broken Heart was the second single from Delta’s 4th album, Child Of The Universe. The song charted at a moderately successful #15 in her native Australia. Apart from her first single (released before she became globally famous), this was actually her lowest charting single in Australia up to that point! So it again begs the question why the powers that be thought this should be the song for Steps to cover!

10th. Worlds Apart - Here And Now70 Points (Average: 6.36) UK Chart Run : N/A Biggest BJ FAN: @777666jason (10) Biggest BJ HATER: @Jessie Where (2) So the second of the 2 bonus entries falls and finishes in 10th place. The song ‘Here And Now’ features on the band’s album of the same name, and was released in 2000… not that long before Steps got their mitts on it! Apart from it being a fully male vocal, it is extremely similar sounding to the version we all know and love, which makes sense given the time it was recorded/released. Fun fact: you may recognise one of the members in the band as Nathan Moore, who went on to manage HRH LSL and who featured heavily in the life-affirming documentary Totally Scott-Lee!

11th. Mollie King - In The Dark (Beat Of My Heart)64 Points (Average: 5.82) UK Chart Run : N/A Biggest BJ FAN: @Lee_J11 (8) Biggest BJ Hater: @Scene @Viper* (2) Just missing out on the top 10 is The Saturdays’ very own Miss Mollie King. After their split, Mollie got back in the studio to make her debut album. After releasing her first 2 singles to nigh-on zero success (poor cow), the project stalled and she quickly diverted careers to become on to become a BBC Radio 1 presenter, where she remains to this day! In The Dark (Beat Of My Heart), later to be known as To The Beat Of My Heart is an uplifting pop track written by Mollie herself alongside MNEK. The album as a whole never saw the light of day, until it was leaked jsut under 2 years ago. (And there’s some great tracks on it )

12th. VINCINT - Hard 2 Forget50.5 points (Average: 4.69) UK Chart Run : N/A Biggest BJ FAN: @Mangø (8) Biggest BJ HATER: @Paddington James (1) Hard 2 Forget? More like Easy 2 Forget, as poor VINCINT exits the competition in last place. Potentially not a surprising first exit as this song is probably largely considered to be one of Steps’ least memorable / liked singles! Tacked onto their most recent #1 charting Greatest Hits album, alongside The Runner, it was Hard 2 Forget that was given the single treatment. I guess the biggest question is who thought this song was good enough to cover, nevermind release, in the first place?!

After 3 weeks of voting for your favourite original version of the 12 covers that Steps released, we now have a winner! But who will it be? Stay tuned! But first, we must find out who finished in last place…

Very this 😂 I do still quite enjoy it though (unsurprisingly )

Fingers crossed they’ll start later today (or tomorrow at the latest!)

Sadly I don’t :( Popped SYBM on again… achingly close to 8M now, should probably do it on Tuesday! 🤞🏼

I just want to know who’s Null Voted 😂

FAVE 10 Years & Years - Ties 09 Bananarama - Bad For Me 08 Texas - Like Lovers (Holding On) 07 iamamiwhoami - shadowshow 06 Sade - Pearls 05 M83 - Lower Your Eyelids to Die With the Sun 04 Depeche Mode - Photographic 03 New Order - Love Vigilantes 02 Ultravox - Accent on Youth 01 Fontaines D.C. - Sundowner LEAST FAVE A mixed bag to say the least. Always adored Ties - think it was my favourite album track from Communion so lovely to see / hear it again Probably the best song from iamamiwhoami so far! M83 I also actually really liked; it was giving me Planet Earth vibes. However it absolutely did NOT need to be that long! The bottom 4 could have ended up in any order really. But it is what it is

Last day to get any more votes in for this so please spread the word 🙏🏼

Now updated with the outcome of Steps’ favourite member game! Faye Tozer

🥇 1st Faye Tozer (16 of 20 Votes To WIN) So in the end, it’s Faye Tozer who reigns victorious and is undoubtedly Buzzjack’s favourite member of Steps, with 80% of the final vote. And it never really looked to be in doubt! Faye is the perfect all rounder. Our triple threat - She can sing, she can dance and she can act! But I think on top of all that, she comes across as one of the most genuinely kind, sweet and humble people, not just of Steps, but of all her pop-star peers. So congratulations Faye, the people’s princess

🥈 2nd Claire Richards (4 of 20 Votes to WIN) With only 20% of the final vote, it’s R Claire who fails to go all the way and nab the win! Undoubtedly the voice of the group and without them, I do think they’d struggle somewhat and definitely lose their iconic Steps sound. Nevertheless she put up a good fight after picking up a fair few votes throughout the earlier rounds and finishes in a highly respectable second place! Well done Claire! ❤️

5th H (9 of 18 Votes) 4th Lee (10 of 20 Votes) 🥉 3rd Lisa (9 of 18 Votes) After a (not so ) TENSE week of voting, the results are in. Who has clinched it? Who is your favourite member of Steps? Has vocal powerhouse and mumsy Claire Richards done enough to clinch victory or will Strictly Come Dancing’s ROBBED queen Faye Tozer finally get her win?!

Will this insanity ever end

Having read and adored the book a few months ago, I can’t wait to go and see this. The reviews so far however aren’t the greatest, oop! For the book readers, there is a bonus chapter which doesn’t feature in most of the books, which does again contain further twists! (Apparently the film doesn’t include this though, sadly!)

This place wouldn’t be the only thing about to blow
