Couldn't see a thread on this but what do you think? Preorders must be huge and despite drop in album sales I think this could do over 200k first week

Nelly Furtado Forca That would be considered a success right now for her

The Last Top 40 appearance for BritPop Gods The Bluetones :P Never Going nowhere charted at Number 40 in 2003. I remember being shocked they could still manage a hit at the time

80k Bastille 30K Dido 20K Phonics There really is no question that Bastille is going to number 1.
  8. Back to 99p ^_^
  9. Bastille 5K lead over JT @occmidweeks :o #wishfulthinking
  10. There is no chance of the Foals splitting after this album. I predict the album will be bigger than people think, the single is way exceeding expectations and the album in my opinion will have no trouble hitting the top spot. Foals and Bastille to lead the new wave of guitar based music in 2013...
  11. Foals smashing it! Number 30.
  12. Attention seeking. Ignore her
  13. The 25 years hype will be helping
  14. You're a little sad aren't you.
  15. And I have also seen Guardian 4/5 Stars Clash 8/10 BBC Favourable It is clearly an album which has divided the critics, NME bashed the last album and if they don't fit their "mould" then they will also slate so I take their opinion with a pinch of salt. Personally I think it is a fantastic album, and certainly better than the last one, although i still love An End Has A Start, I'm sure it will be Number 1 next week as Papillon has generated a lot of interst in the album.

I quite fancy Olly to win, I think people will connect with him as the "underdog" in the category and could go further than the other 2 to Simon's dismay. Really not sure what music he will do though, really hope Simon doesn't make him a dated crooner, I get this impression.
  17. About 10 listens in and it gets better and better - I'm in love with this album. Love how short it is, favourite tracks?? All of them are sensational - it honestly is so fantastic  Think I'm really feeling the title track and Like Treasure at the moment.
  18. Anyone see them on Jools Holland last night. The 2nd song Eat Raw Meat sounded superb, REALLY excited for the album now, surprise album of the year perhaps
  19. I think a surprise Hit for this, Top 10 for single, Top 20 for album. She is just so difficult to predict though.

I'm shocked at how slow Muse are rising! Still not Top 40, I think this will struggle to go Top 10 - very surprised

Honestly believe Muse will do it next week, we haven't had the "big rock" number one this year, there is always at least one which people latch ont, this time last year it was Sex On Fire ( Top 10 again this week  ), before that Oasis, Arctics. Belive the Hype - Uprising will be MASSIVE
