Should Andy Abraham drop out of the UK ESC?
:cheer: The British public must've done SOMETHING right, as Andy's song is currently the co-leader in the LEADING ESC poll on the web! The same poll that predicted the Serb win last year, and bottom two for the UK and Ireland. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r82/eastripper/FirstPoll.jpg What I do find ironic tho', is that the members (on various ESC forums/boards on the web) who are having the biggest hissy-fits about the UK entry are all Irish! What was it they taught us about your own doorstep... !?

Romania
And rightly so! The song has been on my personal chart since early December (even before they considered to enter it for ESC) - "Pe-o" a lovely song.

Britain will never win a Eurovision
And you started a "New Topic" just to say that?! It's seriously time for the "Great" British public to stop feeling sorry for themselves, and blame the rest of Europe for it! :manson:

LOL! - with 12 points from Malta as a PROTEST vote against the voting system. Scooch was the BIGGEST embarrasment to the United Kingdom EVER! :manson:

Should Andy Abraham drop out of the UK ESC?
The BBC announced Wogan would choose a wildcard with the rules of the new show two weeks ago (and I guess if the wildcard was given to The Revelations last night it would've been okay?). I don't know which show you've been watching, but in the one I saw Michelle song and performance was appalling to say the least! Fofoxshakes, she did the foxing Chicken Dance on stage! :manson: Oh, and The Revelations will have two months to brush up their performance?! It didn't work for Jemini or Javine, did it? It NEVER does. At least we are guaranteed of a good performance with Andy!

Should Andy Abraham drop out of the UK ESC?
YAY! :cheer: And although it's not great, this year's entry is still 1000x better than than the Scooch!

Should Andy Abraham drop out of the UK ESC?
COME ON FGS, Andy won his place fair and square! And YES, he was the best of a bad bunch, but Michelle was beyond AWFUL (reminds me of the horribleness that is the Maltese entry this year, actually).

United Kingdom 2008
These are exactly my sentiments today! ;) I mean, Andy's song is not good, but it's certainly not as BAD as some members make it either. And, we know at least it will be well performed in Belgrade.

United Kingdom 2008
That's EXACTLY what we all said last year Scooch should do. Geez, I even signed a petition (three actually, if I remember correctly) to that effect. So, who should replace Andy then? Michelle Gayle, with that horrible and atrocious heap of RUBBISHNESS? Or The Revelations, where the girl in the red dress sang so dreadfully off-key she made Jemini sound like professionals? At least Andy CAN sing. And he is unquestionably a good PERFORMER! Maybe he might just give the UK a good result.

What can be done...
Two decent songs. I'm not fond of "Even If" either, but give me the Twattaham anyday before Michelle Gayle's recycled dross!

Your favorites in the National Finals
IF this is chosen for Belgium, it'll be my favorite to actually win ESC this year. Seriously. The performance reminds me of Alisha's "Knockdown" a bit - uber-FABBY! :cheer: Sandrine - I Feel The Same Way uYN_avtsfyA

Here's hoping both Waldia and Cascadia will qualify. :D I've spoken to our Minister of Foreign Affairs earlier, and he'd promised to get in touch with your foreign ministry soon to strengthen relations between our two nations. ;)

Good songs. Out of these I really like Polina Gagarina's "Kolybelnaya".
