interactive... i watched last weeks last night! easily the best drama on tv atm... its fcukin BRILLIANT, so many storylines, so many angles, great cast, great escapism.. pisses all over 'the london soap' and in reality even the yorkshire soap too.. just.

not sure about raising the retirement age to 66... after 40 plus years of working and paying into the system i think itll be abit cruel to make people work longer. im getting worn out and im only 53!

all was revealed tonight.... a storyline very reminiscent to 'dallas' back in the 80's, whereby j r ewing 'set up' rivals to get his way. nathan alas isnt j r ewing, who played the role brilliantly, totally believeable .... nathan on the other hand isnt j r ewing. slimeball....yes. coniving businessman with 'contacts' .... no.

hmm... how popular is lily allen in europe? or kate nash? the winning song might well be a pastiche of allen/nash soundalikee to us, but what about the rest of europe? it might be fresh to them. it was a resounding victory for germany, a song that was well known in europe, and i dont think it was all about politics. others have said that we came 5th last year, if politics were really playing that bigger part we would have come much lower.... or won depending! ;) we will never know. so politics might play a role, as does neighbouring countries having similar tastes in music (thus being more inclined to 'swap' votes), but 50% (isnt it?) of votes are phone votes and i think that they at least are pretty 'clean'. if we entered a decent song (like last year....aparrently) it will do well. but really, who tf cares? the golden age of eurovision is long since over... it was best in the 70's/early 80's.

i take NOTHING away from curtis's work on blackadder... utterly brilliant. but all those soppy gurly films with hugh foppish grant are :puke2:. and this emotional bollox is what he brought to dr who... and THAT is clearly what i was refering too as 'nicey picey twee'. it ruined a great idea with a new kind of alien... dr who is a sci fi prog, not a rom com.

hmm.... mixed for me, some great bits, some rather :puke2: the alien thing was marvelous! what a great idea, what a good creature.. van gogh was good thought the alien scenes were too short, i didnt like the romance thing (bloody 'love actually' curtis :angry: ) emotional bollox... nah... episode ruined.

oh and just one more thing to throw into the pot... we have just had 3 consecutive washout summers, so no big days out at the pub, taking must be down due to that as well... :)
