  1. see the above response.
  2. because you post inflamitory crap in order to get a reaction, based on what the sun says and most of it is a direct contradiction to your lifestyle. craig on the other hand is an intelligent poster who supports his views with reasoning and thought.
  3. i fully agree scotty.... i know richard rates her but i cannot fathom why. she is beyond doubt one of the worst female vocalists of all time, ok not as bad as heather small (m people) or dido (it would help if she finished the word she was singing instead of seemingly running out of breath), but mel c has clearly a very unattractive voice...its horrible! and most of her lyrics are appallingly childish.
  4. wheres the evidence of this ban?....

i dont agree... id suggest the marlon thing in particular (although slightly laboured) adds to the dimension of the storyline, and marlon is a brilliant and likeable character, just like paddy is. see this is the difference between ee and ed, i LIKE the characters in ed, i dont like the characters in ee.

oh lord... how many times must i explain?.... yawn...

i watch ee occassionally, usually on a friday, i think that qualifies me as a casual viewer... i watch it because i still remember the old days when it was $h!t hot, id LIKE it to be that way again, sometimes a decent storyline will capture me but then it goes off and ends up being annoying. eastenders has been preacxhy for about 15 years now, every so often the left wing do gooders who run the show will use it to 'teach the viewers a lesson'... this time it was the effects on gun crime, it was a thinly veiled lesson to its younger viewers on how bad guns are, and to the older viewers to say 'see we are upto date with real issues and heres our stand on it'... <_< no other soap lectures you unsubtely about anything, id object if it did! other issues are dealt with in a much better, non preachy way, in all the soaps ive seen. emmerdale hasnt preached anything about olena, if it did it would be showing thickies bemoaning the fact that "they are takin our jobs" whilst highlighting her willingness to work for low wages. they dont, they just get on with it.
  9. the sun NEVER has anything interesting to discuss, please dont use the sun again for a referance point. its a comic, not a newspaper.
  10. if chris had of posted this i WOULD have closed it.... as its craig i believe he is posing a genuine if not somewhat odd question. tbh craig, i dont think youve thought this through, seems like youve shot from the hip again..lol

another 'preachfest' from the thought controlers intent on using the soap to 'educate' people.... this time its gun crime... <_< . ridiculous paint wars, and uninteresting events at the vic.... carole performing well?.. well yes she did, but the preaching about gun crime and the uninteresting nature of the plot made it yet another episode that failed to win over a casual viewer.
  12. teenage lesbian kisses? oh dear, now thats getting desperate.

thats opinion... mine is that it is one of the best ever in a soap, if not THE best (in the way it was handled/written)
  14. its only because the decent members took it and made it into a proper discussion that i didnt close it. why should YOU care if foreigners are taking jobs, you have no intention of working.
  15. i agree re the cardigans.... i hated 'my favourite game', due mainly to that annoying schoolboy riff... if it qualifies as a riff, 'erase rewind' though has a superbly sombre feel to it, great track.

aaron was utterly BRILLIANT again last night, how good is this storyline when the torment of a gay guy can be felt by straights! lol, normally its not easy to get empathy for anybody who isnt the same sort of person (young/old/gay/straight/black/white etc ) but a damn good actor and damn good storyline has managed this here. id rate this storyline as possibly THE best ever in a soap .... aaron wont win owt at the forthcoming soap awards, thatll go to some plank from eastenders or corrie <_< , but he should... seldom have i ever been impressed with acting from what is 'light entertainment'.

gutted the the girls went last night.... they were the only ones likable, they were up for all the tasks unlike half of the others who chickend out or moaned. tbh i wouldnt mind if the coach crashed down a ravine now....
  18. ... and yet again, buzzjacks biggest hypocritical bone idle layabout has started a thread bemoaning bone idle layabouts.... oh how ironic <_<
  19. agreed with these posts. tbh im in half a mind to close this thread, i mean, basing a serious discussion on an article in THE SUN?.... fcuk off!
  20. he alienated punks by declareing he invented punk.... he did not, did he push it to the front of the queue? possibly, he certainly gave the sex pistols the nudge they needed but didnt create punk. i quite liked him, he was all for new sounds and chamiponed early hip hop. like him or not, he WAS part of our pop music heritage and DID help push things forweard. sad news. rip.

  25. feel free to undertake this (in here), after all if its 'of all time' then its clearly retro whilst the lounge would pander to 'todays generation', so the result wouldnt be 'of all time' but 'as seen by todays youth'.
