    I was very disappointed by it.

     

    It was way too Politically Correct for my liking drawing comparisons with the modern day "Holy War" in the Middle East at the moment.

     

    I also thought that the acting was fairly mediocre with the exception of Keith Allen, who was brilliant as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

    much though i like these medieval japes, from what ive seen im not expecting to enjoy it. they seem to want to overlay todays social problems on a 12th centuary setting.... to me that just doesnt wash.

     

    when i watch medieval drama, i want to see medieval drama! the special effects seem far too holywood for me, too much clint eastwood, which is fine set in arizona... but not in sherwood forest!

     

    i was hoping that this production would steer away from the kevin costner model, i fear it hasnt.

    I wouldn't be at all surprised if you did miss something mate, half of what he's saying doesnt make any sense.... But then it would help if there was punctuation and a proper structured argument somewhere in the post.....

     

     

    im tanked up on drugs... (medicinal ones) heads swimming, so my concentration/absorbtion rate isnt what it should be.... i could quite easily 'not get' it.

    jamie oliver has forceably given children a healthy option, one hat wasnt there before. they were being force fed fat, salt, sugar... its no wonder theres so many pigs about, fat is disgusting, there is simply NO NEED for a human being to consume vast amounts of shyte just to give themselves a momentary feeling of comfort.

     

    everybody has a body type, and within that body type each should be able to live within it. you eat to nourish your body with the fuels it requires for optimum performance plus a few little indulgences, anything else is greed and greed is one of the 7 deadly sins!

     

     

    so im not bothered why jamie oliver is doing it..... be it a shed load of money, or a career move, whatever... anything that stops our youth getting fat has my approval.

    Bollocks to it..... <_< Everyone has a right to be pissed off about this fukkin' Govt as far as I'm concerned....

    the problem with that is that your objectivity might be brought into question, when you seem to want to bad mouth the government at every turn... ok... im not saying that you are wrong, but it might just taint your views on peripheral subjects.

    I think the whole our boys like girls c**p is a bit erm weird cos I see someone in the street and I'm like oooh he's cute but it's a girl and I'm like eh Emo sex freaks! :unsure:

     

    I don't care what people think - I think if you don't like put it on for show and parade that you slit your wrists or that you love emoooo<3333 lots of <3333333 I think its important to listen to music and feel music and lyrics in emo songs I know what they mean because I feel like that I dont want crappy pop ballads telling me about how good love is and how happy and oh dear now I'm sad cos you went booohoooo I want GRIT and I want to know that somebody understand how much it ****ing hurts like a knife like bleeding - music is the most important thing in life without it the world would be nothing and I love any kind of music that can create that image.

    20 years ago we were polarised politically by thatcher... you either licked her great flabby arse or you hated her devisive policies.

     

    she created the 'greed is good' culture saying that 'theres no such thing as society'... no greed isnt good, its foul.

     

    nuclear weapons were an issue, as was russia and the tail end of the cold war. equality was a long way from being fully accepted, so women, gay people and ethnic minorities were still getting hasstle...

     

    it seems that as we cure societies ills, a whole new set appears to cause trouble. islam and muslims were not an issue, nowdays there seems to be emerging a new religious war, and as islamic extremism gathers pace, so does christian fundementalism.... i think the future looks very dodgy..
