So simple and so stunning. I ask anyone who likes Birdy and her stripped down style to check out an unsigned American artist called Kiersten Holine. Search for her on You tube she has her channel with quite a lot of songs, mainly covers (including Skinny Love !) but all sung with that unplugged/acoustic style. Her voice does not yet have the power of Birdy but she has lovely tone. Check her out, you got nothing to lose, my favourite is her cover of God Only Knows.

Not heard the original of Let the sun shine (Labrinth ?) to compare but loved this version. Leona's faultless live vocals as ever :) As Jonjo said, stunning.

Nice song. I really like it but have to agree its obviously not intended as a release. Anyone know when/if next official release may happen ? Or when she might be looking to start work on new material again ? Or is she already ?

Good isdea Jonjo, keep track of how we're doing. Are you able to post this weekly (or monthly) ? If we drop below 30 then we should all be ashamed. Need to keep at least in the top 30 or we could get threatened with closure again ? :(

Personally i prefer WTYSMS ober Unthinkable, I love the piano on this song. I know its a key part of all her songs but this is one where the piano seems to somehow take lead and the vocals follow. Can't quite explain but its somehow different, can't quite put my finger on it.

Sorry Jonjo, maybe I didn't word it well....... it was a bit of late night sarcasm/irony (well, late night for me anyway !) and a dig at some of the other AFs that aren't up for the chop that maybe should be (IMO of course) Totally agree with you. Hopefully the burst in activty will spare us from loosing her forum. Finger croseed (but still typing !!)

I submitted the request and have tried to post whenever I can and reply/comment on others posts but it seems we are a victim of over 50 people supporting the request but only about 4 or 5 getting invovled (other than the mods) with using it once it was created. I'll keep posting and fingers crossed we'll get a sway of execution :)

1 Rebecca :) I'm with Titty, waste of time ranking the rest. Only 4 of the others can sing (TraCy Mary, Matt and maybe Aiden) and I just don't really like them :(

I know. but it still makes me mad. I dip in and out the Leona forum too from time to time and its been really quiet in there lately but they're not closing hers down (Which I'm glad about). Just wish they'd see sense and leave Alicia's alone too.

As this is off-topic stuff can I just say how P'd off I am that the "management" have decided that this AF is for the chop only a few months after we got it. If it wasn't for me still wanting access to the Shakira and Christina forum I'd be giving any supporters of this closure a seriously hard time (ie abuse.......... but I'd get blocked/banned which helps no one :( ) Why can't they leave our Queen of NY forum open ? First and second listen to the album this stood out with 'Put it in a Love song' as good single choices. Glad its out there now though still want to see video for the best song not released from the album (PIIALS). BTW lets close this AF cos no one uses it and theres no activity:-( (rant........Needs reconsidering but my pleas have been dismissed as obviously unless we have loons constantly posting we are not worthy....... over)
