Copying rubbish is never a good idea ! Christina got that wrong, she needs to stick with what she does best with her awesome vocal power range and agility........ stick to songs that need singing like the voice within, Hurt, fighter,Soar,Candyman, not electropop with vocals modified to probably disguise defects or deficiencies. i couldn't find any LadyGaGa songs where she used her voice unmodified...... Sounds like all the other wannabees floating in and out of the industry.

Not a fan of KGB like it seems a lot of Christina fanbase, hence the poor-ish chart performance compared to Brit and Bey over last few weeks. I'll listen to GaGa but think if it's KGB styl then I won't go crazy for her.

it'll go to No 1. Don't think anything can stop it. I optomistically predicted 300k sales but that was before the release was postponed to boost deluxe album sales. I still think it'll clear 100k + first week. Keep your eyes on the midweeks in the Sunday chart prediction thread and the itunes updates thread.

Run Video is out, hauntingly brilliant. check it on Leona official site. Download should be available sunday according to their source but I guess they mean from midnight.

Radio 1 might need an edited down version which would be a shame but I think most the commercials will take it as is, after all they promote Shayne, Leona, Leon et al like mad anyway as they do all ITV reality stars. It's just too good to not play in its entirety. (IMO of course)

ooops, me getting carried away ! I forgot about those releases. Especially TT what, with there X factor appearance this weekend and being xfactor darlings since Gary told Simon about his duty of care for Leona, I think they'll be a no brainer for No 1 album ! looking forward to DivasII, see if she did it as well on that recording. Hope she has the gospel style backing choir again. If Run does get released to radio etc i'll stick with my original prediction of number 1. Sony/Syco have generated a lot of extra press coverage due to their 'messing' about over release dates so even if you didn't see x factor you'll know about it by now !! Deliberately or not it doen't matter, it will work in her favour.

probably because it was such a fantastic song in the first place but sung by Snow Patrol it was never going to catch the attention of X factor viewers but when done by the queen of X-factor the final piece of the jigsaw is complete and the monster (hit) is unleashed. I agree, I'd like Leona to do her own material but remember nearly all artists cover songs by others occasionally as really really good songs don't come along that often. remember Harry Nilson ?! Ask most people under about 30 who's song Without You is and they'll likely say Mariah Carey.

Never under estimate the power of x factor......... Run.......1 song, 1 performance (admittedly out of this world performance) and a re-hashed re-issued album looks like being number 1. No other promotion needed. Easy. Syco/sony gamble paid off big time and the individual track could still chart in a few weeks time once its on itunes

oh and now I see the Deluxe album is no1 in the mids so deffo don't download illegally..... just keep buying the album !! Joint number 1 again for Leona in 2 and a bit weeks time ? any thoiughts ?

Or you can get the live version she did on x factor converted into mp3 directly from the vid on you tube but I don't know the rules on whether I can publish how to do it on here. Can any of the mods or admins let me know either way whether I can share ? Obviously I don't want to encourage anyone to download 'illegally' and I hope no-one does as I want her to be No 1 when it comes out Monday week :-)

looks like 1 performance of 1 song may just get a re-release album to no 1 !! (if not 1 then certainly top 5 !) Taking this into account along with what has happened on Irish iTunes its pretty clear if Run had been available on UK iTunes then it would have stormed no1........ but of course the album would have done less well. ps Run available on Limewire for any illegal downloaders amongst you ?
