Lift Me Up

If my maths is correct and this list covers all songs from 2000 onwards then we have had 10 years worth at the end of this year and in those 10 years 200 songs have sold 300K plus. Thats an average of 20 per year making the top 200. This year however we are only just half way through and already we have 43 entries in there. This surely reflects the upturn in single sales as a result of itunes (and related sites). Or just how poor sales were just a few years ago !! Or it could be that the music is just so much better now.... but somehow I don't believe that :unsure: yippee 100 posts !! Only a few thousand more to catch up with some of you guys.

Don't think I'm gonna like it. :( Sounds too disco/electro-pop type. I like the more rocky and sensual ballads side of her music. This seems to be an extension of the Ready for the Good Times theme from ages ago. But I still love Shaki and can't wait to hear a proper HQ version.... and I'll be the first in the queue to get the album when it comes out ! :wub:

having said that though the words do match with lyrics from Shakira.com !! And they have given the title on her website so I must just be paranoid :unsure:

I keep listening to the clip. thats NOT Shaki singing. Maybe backing vocalists ? Or are we all being taken for a ride by a massive scam and this is nothing to do with new single at all and the She Wolf thing is all one big hoax ? Someone mentioned in a thread somewhere they thought the production waslnot as professional and tight as what we've come to expect and love with Shaki's music......... just a thought ? I guess we'll find out on Monday !!

Anybody hear the Super Estrella transmission who could translate to english the gist of the discussion. Sounded like a mickey-take as there was a lot of laughing and shouting with occasional wolf howls, but I could have been wrong

I've been listening. Around 20 past 2 they were talking about Shakira and She Wolf...... then played part of Animal City. Missed a bit after that so don't know if it was played or not. didn't understand anything much else they were saying as my Spanish is sadly limited (well actually pretty much non existent !)

Anyone know whats happening with official Shaki site ? It just comes up as shakira.com coming soon. I'm guessing its being re-launched with new single and album promo in mind......
