  1. The version that was a hit in Australia was this one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3ltZmI5LQw Baby, Baby and Try Me Out are better for me personally. Having said that, this still kicks ass too :music:
  2. Thanks for this. Had only ever hear The Real Thing which does nothing for me. This however, I love :cheer:
  3. Great tune but I've always preferred Feels Like Heaven
  4. I'm LOVING this thread  As an Aussie, some of these songs weren't hits in Australia so I've found a couple of new JAMS here :) Am living for Oceanic's 'Insanity', The Shamen's 'Move Any Mountain' ('Ebeneezer Goode' was their only hit back in Oz) and Shut Up & Dance's 'Raving I'm Raving'. The rest I either knew or have found to be absolute shit :P
  5. Hold My Hand is actual one of the worst songs to reach #1 in the last few years. Generic at it's worst.
  6. I'm just gonna stop you right there. It's easily in BEP's top 3 best. Meet Me Halfway is their finest moment for me personally. This isn't one of Guetta's finest moments.
  7. He's performing at Heaven on Feb 14th as well as Kelly Clarkson!!!!
  8. 'Let It Go' for me is Alexandra's best song. If it were released by say Rihanna, it would've been a worldwide smash. Poor girl.
  9. Girlicious - Maniac & 2 In The Morning were BANGERS Mini Viva - One Touch is pop perfection Neon Hitch - f*** U Betta & Get Over U were brill Phixx - Hold On Me & Love Revolution were absolute JAMS The Presets - They had the 1 HUGE album in Australia, would've thought they'd crossover with it into the UK too
  10. They sold more digitally too :/ They were #1 on iTunes pretty much the entire week!!
  11. Oooh I like that Blonde song!!
  12. Just A Little More Love is still up there with Guetta's best! That was a club staple back then!
  13. AS IF?! '3' is in my top 5 fave Brit tunes, 'Outrageous' is pretty much the only Brit single i'm not a fan of really.
  14. Surprised it only made #111, it was HUGE in Australia. Absolutely love that song :)
  15. I don't think Calvin Harris had any influence on it being the smash it was, ask any average person on the street who produced it and they probably have no idea. It sold on being a great song in my opinon.
  16. Can someone shed some light on La Bouche - Be My Lover only selling 40k o.O Was there a story behind this not being a massive hit in the UK when it was absolutely huge everywhere else?
  17. Isn't the #1 obvious? Isn't it widely known what the highest selling dance single of the 90's was?
  18. I'm surprised that 'Don't Give Me Your Life' was the bigger hit for Alex Party. 'Wrap Me Up' was their biggest hit here in Australia, but I'm finding that alot with these 90's dance acts, we always had a bigger hit over here to what they had over in the UK
  19. JX 'You Belong To Me' was always their best single for me, and rightfully so was their MASSIVE hit here in Australia rather than 'TNIWD'
  20. Phixx - 'Hold On Me' and 'Love Revolution' were BRILLIANT pop singles :/
  21. MADONNA That was my instant thought ;)
  22. Ummm I'm gonna stop ya'll right there. Commander SLAYS everything else she has ever done.
  23. Where is Cher - Believe? That is most certainly dance and not pop :/

Sadly, I think that ship has sailed. He's now moved onto the next single :(

That MKTO song is soooo generic. Don't know how that was just a big hit here in Australia :/ 'I Love It' was definitely THE anthem of Summer just gone here so would be dumbfounded if the UK don't follow suit.
