Is it prejudice if someone just declares a preference for a certain look? Although I think it´s not something really to be said on national TV by popular artists, everyone has its preferences, there are people who like fat, thin, tall, short women... there are people who like blondes better. I find white people usually more atractive (altough there are some exceptions) does that make me a racist?

You don´t need to be so defensive and say that you don´t want to offend a religion that you just called pathetic. I think everyone agrees that a religion or doctrine which teaches include stoning and lashing people are beyond vile. Western governments will do nothing because USA walks hand in hand with Saudi Arabia and desperately needs their oil. Under these circumstances, the saudis could even offer human sacrifices to their god in public and the western governments would say it´s an "internal matter". USA doesn´t give a f*** about democracy or the quality of the life of people living in 3rd world countries, they just use such things as excuses to attack countries they have strategic reasons for. Why are them so f***ing worried with democracy in Venezuela when at the same time they are partners with vile nations like Saudi Arabia who are living in dark ages, which make the european middle ages look like land of freedom???

The reason is because she didn´t go there for money.... She went there to f***ing help and do something good. There are thousand of easier ways to make more money then being a teacher in a f***ed up islamic country. And by the way they are not in 21st century because they use a different calendar.

Ethnic minorities are oftenly respectful with mainstream traditions, and many of them even take part on the celebrations. And since when being an ethnic minority and being non-Christian is the same? Christianity is much more influent in Poland, Eastern Europe and Latin america then it is in secularized united kingdom, so I´m sure theat many of the imigrants are more into christianity then "native" british people. Not every imigrant is a muslim. Just like it was said above, it´s white mid-class people from the "native" british who want to ban christian traditions in school because of secular influence, and only use the non-christians minorities for that as an excuse. Parents are not forced to let their kids take part if they feel that the story is "ofensive"...

But even if it applies just for the muslims, in any democratic state you cannot be forced to do something except by the law, don´t matter which religious or ethnic community you belong. Muslims are not free to do with their wives and children whatever they want to, they are subject to the law of the country they live in...

Anyone in a democratic state can have an arranged marriage in these terms... So it´s obviously not this type of marriage that Dr. Bari was talking about. The marriage you just described is pretty much like any normal ocidental marriage. Plus, what´s the point in a minority who just came in the country a few decades want to dictate how the rest of the population should behave? It´s laughable but sometimes it seems that the UK is so politically correct that the culture of a minority will eventually surpass the traditions you had for centuries...

Our species is not naturally monogamic. It´s religious influence that made us like this, that why monogamy is the rule in every civilization influenced by catholicism.

So we should ban men from being doctors too... Cause the proportion of doctors involved in paedophilia cases is WAY bigger then priests/pastors. And maybe ban men from being fathers, cause the amount of children that are abused by their own parents is like a hundread times bigger then the amount of children being abused by clerical man. I think ministers who abuse kids should be punished themselves, and not the Church forced to pay indenization with money that was donated by members who don´t have ANYTHING to do with it. Jail should be the punishment, not a millionaire indenization taken from the pocket of Church members.

It is pretty pathetic comparing stoning a person because of his sexual preferences to a bad comment on an artist´s work on a magazine. It´s laughable the idea that a gay celebrity in America cannot be popular. Just look at Elton John and his shows that are usually watched by thousands of old and conservative americans, who enjoy his music despite probably disliking homossexuality. Just look at all the hype surrounding Brokebak Mountain and many other movies and TV shows related to homossexuality. Yes, it´s pretty pathetic to compare life in USA to life in an islamic conservative country. I am sure that 99% of iranian, arabi or pakistani homossexuals would give anything to live in USA, and this cliche speech of "USA is as bad as _____ (insert any 5th world medieval country)" souns like adolescent reaction of "I hate my own society" type, even tough nobody would like to trade it for life in Saudi Arabia or other places where you can be charged for kissing in public. And did anyone remember that homossexual artists also run the risk of not being talented just like any average heterossexual??? If Ellen whoever´s show is not very sucessful and Elton or George Michael´s album bombed, it´s not necessarily related to them being homossexual, maybe it´s just because people thought their last material was $h!t. The media happens to destroy someone´s career too, but it´s not a privilege of homossexuals, remember Mariah Carey in her Glitter era... It´s not the first and will not be the last time that someone has a period of sucess and then bombs. The idea of a "Gay community" existing scares me as much as the possibility of "heterossexual males" or "heterossexual females" communities ever existing. Communities are based around cultures and not sexual preferences. Have you ever thought that all this "gay pride" parades not necessarily represent everyone that is homossexual??? Most homossexuals I know do not walk around in beach clothes in the middle of the street, or wear like Cher/Kylie Minogue, and I know more then one homossexual person who gets embarrased when seeing this type of demonstration on TV being shown as a "Gay community" manifestation. There is no such "gay community" in the real world, as if everyone who shares the same sexual preferences where forced to think and act exactly the same, and build a whole culture around it. In fact, many times people who speak in the name of the "Gay community" are doing a huge harm on homossexuals image. But still, if you want you can wear like Cher and dance in the middle of the street representing the "gay community" and not be bothered to being stoned or hanged or something like that... So complain as much as you want about USA... as if Europe itself wasn´t the grandmother of all USA ideas and culture... And as if the rest of the world was much more open minded to accept the different, as if racism and homophoby wasn´t much more common in 3rd world undeveloped countries...

And try sayng to this children that it would have been better if they mothers aborted them... how many of them would have chose that??? All this mysoginistic talk is bull$h!t... The most interested people in aborption are MEN, who are usually the ones who make pressure over their partners/eventual sex object, cause they don´t want the responsibilities of having a baby. A woman who is pregnant has her body and her brain BIOLOGICALLY (and not religiously) conditioned to have a baby. It´s an earthquake of hormones, it´s not something natural for a woman to discard the baby since her natural/animal instincts would be do anything to protect it. Men don´t have any hormonal or biological change when their partners are pregnant, which makes it a lot easier for them to discard the baby and get rid of the responsabilities. It´s only men who get benefited from aborption, so that they can use their sexual objects a.k.a. women and still don´t have worries with the resposabilities of it. It´s only women who get ruined by it, making a choice pressured by their family and partners but against her own instincts, and then watching her partner walk away as if nothing happens while she takes all the biological and psycologic vile consequences of the act for the rest of her life.

So killing a baby in an incubator is okay, and killing a person who needs artificial help to breathe is okay too...??? There are cases of babies born with 5 or 6 months of pregnancy and still survived with perfect health. How will we stablish a cutline between foetus/human being??? A foetus is not different then a human being, it´s just a STAGE of the human being, just like children, adolescent, adult, old, etc.

Suffering an involuntary aborption is not the same as CAUSING an aborption. Obviously a mother who loses her son in an acident will feel bad, but not guilty for the rest of her life like a mother who MURDERS her own son.

It´s not a matter of religion at all... Of course you are biased to think religion is the origin of all the evil in the world, however a foetus is a human being wether you are religious or not... The fact it can´t BREATHE on its own doesn´t mean it´s not human, there are people in certain circunstances which need artificial help to breathe and they don´t stop being human because of that. No human being is completely independent from others, even tough there are different levels of dependence. Obviously, this is just an EXCUSE (and not an argument) for mothers who want to put an end to a foetus life because it´s inconvenient for them. So this is an argument? Let them kill their babies because it will cause them traumas??? I have heard of many women who repent doing an abortion, but I think it´s VERY rare to hear of a woman who repent having a son or daughter, even if it came from a undesired pregancy.

You hate the Catholic Church, which makes you go against anything they say, as if being against murder was a privilege of religious people... To compare a foetus with a parasite is the highest one can come in disrespect with human´s life. Well, a newborn baby also needs its mother to survive... he can´t live on his own. Does a 3 month old baby has self-awarenes, does he even know his name? So let the egoist parents kill him because they need to save money to change their car or buy a new apartment... What about people with serious mental or physical deficiency? People who are too old? If one aproves aborption then we must also discard any type of human life that can´t sustain itself. Are we going back to Ancient Greece where any human being that wasn´t useful for society could just be sacrificed? One human´s life is constantly developing... you can´t say that this living being only starts to be human after a few months of pregnancy, or after the birth. A 5 years old kid isn´t as capable as a 30 year old adult, and so it goes. Physically one human being keeps on developing until age 20-something. Being a foetus is a part of a process, just like puberty, voice change, etc. There can´t be a cutline between who can be killed, and who can´t, based on age or physical development. Yes, I know, and aborption is also of huge interest to irresponsible man, who are usually the ones who pressure their partners to go to the doctor because they don´t want to waste their money on a kid...

It is very simple... I have the right over my body, but not to use my body and my stenght to kill, hurt, or violate rights of other people. Use it with responsability. All individual rights are relative. For example, mutilation and suicide is not legally allowed in most countries. To use the flag of women´s right to kill babies that are fruit of sexual relations they voluntarily took part in is a lot of cinism and lack of honesty.

Women don´t have the right to murder their babies. They have the right over their own body, for example: not to have irresponsible sex. Babies cannot be blamed if their mothers got drunk in a party and opened their legs to the first stranger they found in the bathroom. I know by experience that, in houses where parents advice their children to make "safe sex" the rate of undesired pregnancy is much bigger then in houses where parents don´t advice their children to have sex at all. It is just stupid to ask for someone who is too young and doesn´t even have a solid relationship to have "responsible" sex. It gives teenagers the impression that their parents aprove them having sex with anyone just for fun. By the way, I doubt that in a country like England, ANY teenager doesn´t know that sex causes pregnancy, and that condoms can avoid this... They know it, and they don´t need their parents or schools telling them so. The reason why they don´t use is simply because they are irresponsible, and that comes from their education.
