What is this stuff going on? Isn´t Billie Piper a pop singer who isn´t around since ages, and why all of a sudden she is selling a song that was ages old??? And it isn´t even a classic!

Lol, I think the inclusing of downloads serve exactly to prevent fanbase acts to have number ones on and on selling 20.000 copies in each release week... Now they have to compete with real popular music, and I bet Westlife and McFly will have less ease to top the charts from now on, plus, acts like Madonna and U2 will not be dead cert top 5 with each release since their fanbase buyng will not be enough to guarantee them hits anymore. Anyone needs to sell downloads to have a good position. Well, if one artist can sell enough to be on the chart WITHOUT A RECORD DEAL, then I think it deserves even more to have a chart placing. A record deal doesn´t mean nothing, labels are usually interested in deals with manufactured barbies like JoJo without any musical talent, if something has to be banned off the charts it´s that type of stuff...

Acording to Mikey the album is "Top 105" (=#105?) in the midweeks :( Didn´t expect such a massive drop after a few weeks of stability... Lithium is Top 65.

Nightwish isn´t ANY similar to Evanescence IMO, and in fact they have been around ages before Evanescence appeared.

But I mean proportionally... TOD has not left the Top 30 in USA since it´s release, while in UK it even left the Top 75 for a few weeks...

MTV Unplugged´s are usually unplugged versions of the band´s biggest songs, so that´s the reason...

Wow, is it sure? Then I guess physicals count almost nothing to the charts these days!!!

Well, it´s a collaboration, you don´t know which parts will be sung by each vocalist. I think Toughless would be a better song for this collab.

^^^ that proves my point again about female singer. Aguilera with huge impressions, sells less then Evanescence with NO airplay, and no doubt Aguilera will have the chance to release 4 or 5 singles off her album to radio stations.

In Brazil, Amarantine has shipped at least 70.000 copies, 55 from the original version and 15 from the christmas edition. That´s very impressive for an international act, and it had practically no exposure on the media, but it´s sales are bigger then other mainstream acts like Shakira, Christina, Beyonce, Justin, etc, in fact MUCH bigger.

But in fact the album isn´t doing bad there, it already sold 1.5 million and still selling (#30 this week), so it´s doing better then in the UK. I think Lithium should have been the 1st single cause the first single is always the one that causes impact, and IMO CMWYS wasn´t strong enough to cause the necessary impact.

It´s too soon to say it flopped, when the previous single is still charting and having much airplay there...

Hmmm... I think these aspirations of remaining on power forever are really a sign of megalomaniac dictatorship. I wouldn´t classify Castro as "benign" either, for supressing basical rights of his population. You don´t see too many americans risking their lives to enter illegally on Cuba...

Won´t they perform in the grammys? So unfair, even Pink will with her album being a total failure in USA. Just proves my point about labels and female pop singers.

Well, if this charts higher then Everybody´s Fool did (#24, isn´t it?), then I´ll be happy. They need to promote this album in the UK. The album is still Top 50, which is good, they´re doing better with this followup the Nickelback, Linkin Park and other american rock bands in UK. IMO this is not the weakest single they had... In fact, Call Me When You´re Sober was their only single I didn´t like.

He is not a religious, unless socialism is a religion. Venezuela is also a country rich in oil, I wonder if we might see another war in the future?

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez began his 3rd term yesterday sayng that he wants to make Venezuela the 1st socialist nation in South America, invoked Christ and Fidel Castro ( :blink: ) as his socialists models. The words were very heavy: "Fatherland, socialism or death — I swear it - I swear by Christ — the greatest socialist in history." The next step to implement his socialism in that country is a constutitional reform, which includes a project that will be voted soon which gives the president the oportunity to edit laws without consulting the parlament. B) One of the new laws proposed is the one that allows "indefinite re-election", so that Chavez can be elected again in 2012 when his time is over. All this on top of banning Santa on Christmas... :(

Well, I have not even travelled on plane or any flyng object in my life and à fear it. The idea of being up there inside of something that you can´t get out of just scares me.

Hmmm.... too bad. Would have charted higher if it was physicals only. I hope the album re-enters the Top 40 at least.

Wow, 200 thousand bucks to risk my life... not even if I had this money.
