Friday Chart Predictions
Annoying they've missed out Lily's sales, would've been good to see what ROSALÍA's chances of keeping top 3 are like. Even if it's #4 that's a bloody phenomenal result for her!

Say SomethInc. - Kylie General Discussion
Omg guys, did anyone notice how she foretold Kiss Me Once in a lyric on 'Burning Up'? 😱

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2000 - #8
Ooooh. I think Spiller just about. If it was the other Madison Avenue one though... that would walk it for me.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
'Chorus' is quite an out there song to be one of Erasure's highest charting singles (although I suppose that's also true of 'Blue Savannah')

It's cheap sounding and basic AF.

Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
This so deserved to be a hit (although admittedly it's 14 years later):

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2000 - #9
I don't really like that S Club song, sooooo Spiller + Mademoiselle E-B!
-
Jester’s rank of 1997 number 1s
I rate 'Spice Up Your Life' as one of their best, it's quite a ride and I appreciate how bonkers it is. I truly don't think I've heard 'Mama' since the 90s, you never hear that one anymore but 'Who Do You Think You Are' seems to still be played a lot.

Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
I like 'Goodies', but she's definitely improved on it many times since.

Makes it a shame in a way it's only been represented with one week at the top officially. Mind you, at least it got there I s'pose.

Unless they estimated 300 copies in the first week? Which I'd certainly say is plausible.- The history of the John Lewis Christmas Advert songs
I think that version is dire! I was appalled when I first heard it, a song like that should not be turned into a spirit-crushingly dreary piano ballad. I didn't know who she was back then though, and thankfully she's done more than enough to redeem herself since- Cheryl Cole - Messy Little Raindrops
The worst album I have heard by anybody ever.- Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2000 - #14
Melony C- ROUND 11: One Direction Solo UK Top 10 Hits Survivor
Jessie Where posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionGoing with 'Sign of the Times' now- Most streamed songs of the 2000s year-by-year
I know this is by release date, but it feels so weird and wrong seeing 'Can't Hold Us' top a 2011 list when it's so strongly associated with 2013.- XMAS Single and Christmas Fully Wrapped Chart Predictions
I think in fairness, most of these artists were over or on the way out as chart acts by that point. I don't think in any of these cases the reason they've not had a hit single since is because of the Amazon exclusive.- House featuring John Cale
Ooooh nicely dark and twisted.- XMAS ● Amazon Music Original
I'm thinking at this stage she'll either get that #1 or be blocked by them like Sam Ryder was.- Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
I hated 'Get Right' at the time, I'm a bit softer towards it now though. That U2 song was number one on my 18th birthday. I really like it, perhaps their last truly great single for me.- The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
Quite funny if Diana Ross had got that Sonia song, seeing as she already had 'Why Do Fools Fall In Love' a few years earlier - Melanie C - 'Sweat'
