Decided to go with Labour as my councillor and her team have been absolutely wonderful with their help in my nightmare housing situation. As things stand, I certainly wouldn't vote for them in a general election though. They have a huge stronghold where I live anyway.

Are you kidding me?! All these years/decades I thought the Manic Street Preachers lead singer had a double-barrelled name 🤯 Gil Scott-Heron apparently has a #89 charting single in 1984 and a #77 in 1990.

Just diabolical, as is his other one still to come. I agree with @gooddelta that he definitely lost it compared to the previous year.

Perhaps 'Bring Your Love', although it's hard to compare as they're both quite radically different from each other. Both satisfy me but neither amazing.

Finally gave 'Upside Down' a listen, it's nice enough although the chorus totally washes over me. I'm not getting much of the dance/electronic vibe described in the album's sound though, it's a bit like 'Glorious' with some twinkly 80s keyboards thrown in.

Much as part of me wants to agree, sales lower down the chart would be pitiful I imagine! Plus it'd probably equally be clogged with old pseudo Greatest Hits albums like The Fame, Teenage Dream and Good Girl Gone Bad which will never go. I think aside from a few like Olivia, the album chart isn't really representative of the "album" as a body of work. It's just about which have the most hit singles on a playlist.
