Song Covers SoundClash #53
Soda Club I guess. The other one sounds like an even cheaper Cascada with a weaker vocal.

Perrie - TBA • 1st Album
I kind of can, because it happened to all the others (barring Jade)

Big Songs That Were Ineligible For The Charts
The physical release of it in 2006 got cancelled at the last minute which meant it couldn't chart, I'm pretty sure they screwed themselves out of a top 3 hit by doing that. Then they just decided to tack it on to 'Clumsy's release much later, not that there was any point.

Would you mind another GH?
I don't think we really need another one for at least 15-20 years. However many albums are released between now and then is anybody's guess.

Song Covers SoundClash #52
Joss easily, Marcus' version of 'Seven Nation Army' is pitiful!

Friend of Mine (Soundtrack Single) - Out Friday 16th May
Shit like this makes me less excited for music from her. I didn't like that last borefest a few years back either.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
'If I Could Turn Back Time' feels like such a HUGE song today that most people would probably assume it was a top 3, but really it was only a whisker away in sales!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Taste
Just been announced she's presenting the UK's jury votes at Eurovision tomorrow, as a last minute replacement for Ncuti Gatwa as he's dropped out!

To be fair, I think if it was a new song by Dua Lipa featuring Kylie it probably would've done the business. As an existing Kylie song where you can barely hear her on it, that's a bit different - especially as history has shown Dua's name being attached to something doesn't necessarily always guarantee success!

I admittedly made a mistake too, but good on him!

JADE - Angel of My Dreams • 1st Single (Part II)
I'd say it's been a massive success for her though, I don't think she or anyone in her team expected it to do as well as it has done. Especially as it's quite out there and admittedly niche sounding. (It was #1 for 10 weeks and went triple platinum in my household though)

I'm pleased for Calvin, this is easily the best thing he's done in a long time.

Calvin Harris & Clementine Douglas - Blessings
It's up to #9 on Spotify today, so it will easily.

2025 albums year to date estimates
We need a next single (hopefully in the next month) and maybe the tour can boost it?

Round 5: Year End Survivor #115
Avril
-
Round 8: Year End Survivor #114
Oh god this is tough, these are 3 songs I listen to fairly regularly and like each a lot. Think it might have to be Blink 182 though.
-
Round 2: Year End Survivor #116
Between Fiddy, N-Dubz and Razorlight but I'm going for N-Dubz as it really is terrible (as are they in general)

Song Covers SoundClash #50
Fifth Harmony, even though it sounds like an anaemic version of the original with a karaoke backing track.

Least favourite Lady Gaga 2nd single ● ROUND 6
TELEPHONE! Seriously omg

2025 BPI Certifications
'Slow' to be fair got to #1 on extremely low sales and fell down the chart very quickly, but I'm pleased to see it finally reach that threshold!

The Veronicas - The Secret Life Of...
Such a classic album for me, every song holds a special place in my heart! It's a shame we never got an era of it in the UK '4ever' is my absolute favourite, I'm gonna go with 'Teardrop' for least. I think kinda because I don't consider it part of the album and don't have the same level of attachment to it, but it's still a perfectly fine song.
