The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1993
'The Key, The Secret' is perfectly alright, but I have a feeling I'm going to like their next single so much more.

2026 singles year to date estimates
I never realised its overall total was anywhere near that high! I would've assumed somewhere in the 600k region.

Melanie C - 'Sweat'
I'm really surprised Kneecap have pulled further ahead with all Mel's been doing.

Friday Chart Predictions
I guess anyone these days who's going to be interested in buying a physical album will do it in the first week, and if you're one of many artists with negligible streams there's nothing to hold you up after that. It's just the way the market has shifted.

She loves being upside down, doesn't she?

RESULTS: JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY: THE ENCORE Rate
My favourite to have been revealed so far, but 14th feels fair enough.

The Singles Collection- Chart Peak
I'd guess incredibly busy time of year around December 2009, that week was pretty stacked (Rihanna's Rated R debuted at #16 for instance), and maybe not that much demand for another Greatest Hits 5 years after a huge selling one. Although all the streams are now attributed to this rather than GH: My Prerogative.

'Kylie' (Netflix Documentary Series) [20th May 2026]
Maybe a small boost for 'All The Lovers' as it's the one that features throughout the trailer?

Melanie C - 'Sweat'
I think that award is a very new thing they've introduced.

Ooooh I'm quite liking that Sienna song! It's refreshing to hear something breezy and lighter from her!

A song I adore all year round, not just at Christmas. It gets me right in the feels.

Favourite Michael Jackson album?
I didn't know half of those before Off The Wall existed! I'm a Dangerous boy myself (and we share the same favourite MJ song!)

Bring Your Love (with Sabrina Carpenter) ● 1st single
I still think it'll be within the top 30. I'd love it it could pick up a bit with a Hot Hits add and a video release.

RESULTS: Pop Princesses 2 • The Rate
I actually quite love this, but it's such tat really that I couldn't justify giving it a score higher than 7. I remember at the time the music channels were really trying to push it but it just completely bombed in the UK. Looking at the release dates, it appears this compilation was released a month before this so maybe they were expecting big things as well?

Friday Chart Predictions
I think Kneecap are probably considered a more "current" act and have quite a lot of critical acclaim/a following.

Jim ranks the 2009 UK #1s
I would say undoubtedly, that pushed them ahead but they could've helped Leona by releasing one of the many better options that album had (like 'Outta My Head') so they got what they deserved. Screwing up that second album when it had such potential was a real shame, it could've panned out so differently for her.

Friday Chart Predictions
The surprising thing about Northern Star is it started out at #10! It's fair to say it's one of those albums that recovered as the campaign went on - 'I Said Never Again' bumped it up to #5 later in its run and 'I Turn To You' gave it its #4 peak.

I wonder if that'll be enough for Zara to beat her previous #36 peak in the albums?

Melanie C - 'Sweat'
I know. When I said minuscule I meant like a 1 in 50 possibility.
