  1. 'Blame It On The Weatherman' is actually really well-remembered in pop culture. I'd probably say 'To You I Belong' is a more viable suggestion.
  2. Fully preparing myself for this to be nothing, she is the girl who cried album after all.
  3. Is this definite or speculation?
  4. I'm veering between being very excited and trying not to hold my breath. A lot of my excitement has evaporated with how drawn out this saga has been, but I'm still very much here for it!
  5. I listened to just over a minute of that DJ Otzi one and... no. DJ Sammy all the way!
  6. What was the exact appeal of Jive Bunny at the time? Is it comparable to something like the Crazy Frog perhaps? I wasn't following at the time due to being barely born, never heard it anywhere since and it seems to have left no imprint on pop culture for how massive it was.
  7. I only listened to 'Forever Love' for the first time the other week and it almost put me to sleep! 😅
  8. Leave a Light On I've not heard this Jive Bunny one either, but based on listening to the last one I'm not even gonna bother.
  9. Avril as it's her worst ever single (if we're not counting the war crime that is 'Hello Kitty')
  10. Razorlight, really really annoying. If that goes we've got a pretty solid top 3!
  11. There is some serious shit in this round, good God. Dronan tops it.
  12. Yay for 'Slow' finally getting there! What a slog that has been.
  13. Would have much preferred this as the official Born This Way cover: And this for ArtPop:
  14. She's so good, I really want her to make a proper breakthrough soon! I think 'Sexy Goodbye' is my favourite, and what a great video.
  15. I'd be very surprised if even 0.0001% of the people listening to it even know what ACR is, let alone listening to a song deliberately to keep it from ACR You would do really well sometimes if you actually think before you post, honestly.
  16. Around February/March 2000!
  17. 'Bag It Up' has been somewhat done dirty, especially when that god forsaken cover of 'It's Raining Men' exists!!!
  18. To be fair I'd probably be gunning for 'Pillowtalk' once 'This Town' and 'Just Hold On' are out of the way, it's not great at all.
  19. I can't believe 'The Land of Make Believe' has been put forward as a suggestion, it is iconic!
  20. I like 'Complicated' more now than I did at the time, but I think the other three singles from this era were all so much better!
  21. 'Cherish' is right up there with Madonna's best for me. Shame she hates it 😥 'Pump Up The Jam' kind of annoys me these days, but I think that's probably more down to overplay than anything else. I do love how Philomena Cunk uses it as part of her show though!
  22. Oh for PHUCK'S sake.
  23. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJbVQPtMQTw/?img_index=1 She also gave this quite interesting insight in her story: "At the end of my twenties it seemed I was pushing too hard with my pop music and not really getting anywhere. I switched to some incredibly meaningful more left-field albums. They meant so much to me but my collaborator Ed Harcourt and I always envisaged 3 albums and done. As I released the 3rd of the albums made in that chapter - Wanderlust, Familia and Hana - I knew it was time to go back to pop"
