Oh wow at Gwen, I thought after how it fell away last week #40 would remain its peak - and even that was quite good for her!
  2. I remember when he went on a massive rant about how people were stupid for thinking 'Abracadabra' was a good choice of single and said some properly vile stuff, then refused to apologise when he was proven wrong.
  3. Easy as it would be to say unlikely, she's proven twice recently something we all thought never would be possible.
  4. I said it before and I'll say it again, that individual is a sociopath.
  5. I think it can grab a second week at #1, but even if it doesn't I don't mind now that it's actually made it there.
  6. Hindsight is a blessing as well as a curse - if I could go forward in time, see the winning lottery numbers and go back in time I'd put them on!
  7. Gonna print this out and frame it
  8. I used to actually like 'All I Want For Christmas', but now I'd be so glad if I never heard it again in my life.
  9. I'm sorry, not only is that a trash song but NO WAY does it beat The Cure.
  10. I'll always remember 'Lullaby' by that guy who threw a wobbly in the midweek thread because it wasn't being discussed
  11. Palestine was top 5 in the last update, so yes.
  12. Still not bored of 'Man I Need' and don't see it happening any time soon.
  13. My nemesis Christmas song VILE
  14. 'Sleigh Ride' has become such a huge favourite for me in the last couple of years or so, I wish it would swap with the highly irritating 'Jingle Bell Rock'
  15. They're all dreary! It's like the prime definition of shopping mall/home store music.
  16. I don't think it's necessarily a case of simply losing popularity, more that it's not getting high placings on playlists.
  17. And 'I Believe In You' had it not had the misfortune to run into Band Aid 20. 'Slow' is probably my favourite of her #1s these days, I still admire what a risk it was to come back with something like that after the mammoth success of Fever.
