  1. We need laws drafted in about this kind of thing.
  2. Oh wow at 'Never Ever' very almost not being a #1! I never knew that.
  3. Debuts at #7. That's a really good result for her, it feels like hype and awareness of it has been zero. Also 10 places higher than her previous!
  4. Ahhhh, big year for me. Excited to follow this!
  5. I can't help but feel like there's only so much they can do if arseholes like Spotify aren't willing to give her any meaningful support, that's why every release since 'Angel' has faltered. 'FUFN' was lucky to do as well as it did, but I'll be amazed if this does any better.
  6. Misread the release schedule. Swedish House Mafia then
  7. Ah! There was I thinking he'd written a song about me
  8. Is there anything big coming next week that we know of? Zara Larsson literally looks like the biggest one I can see so far
  9. Robbie Williams is following a song called 'Rocket' with 'Pocket Rocket'?
  10. Hooray, glad to see an official announcement. One week to go!
  11. 'Mystical Magical' has grown on me a bit, I hope that can get top 10 eventually.

I often wonder if people at Heart legitimately don't know these songs exist until many months down the line.
  13. Looks like that's been confirmed as true! Remarkable. Although, can you imagine living with a trauma like that and also probably immense survivor's guilt? 😞
  14. Thank you Sabrina for saving us at long last! 🙏
  15. Oh this is fab! I'm loving that groove
  16. Caroline, I like this atmospheric take on it. The other one doesn't stray too far from the original, except stripping the magic and charm out of it.
  17. Good winner, a few questionable results along the way... !
  18. Ash, that Skylife one is emblematic of what I hated about 2016 dance music.
  19. I'm always pleased to see how 'Get Outta My Way' has more than earned its stripes in the longrun, especially because at the time (and afterwards) naysayers were saying it shouldn't have even been a single! I think it's fair to say it's perhaps considered up there with her classics now.
  20. Agreed on this. Love + Fear is the only one I've been really disappointed with, this is a mixed bag but the others have been mostly solid.
  21. I remember for quite a while after Amy Winehouse's breakthrough, labels were pushing clones of her.
  22. I think to be fair all her previous topics have been in this forum, and sometimes she does lean into alternative-ish sounds. I <3 You is easily the best song on this.

This surely must have been recorded in 2013?
  24. This really feels like it should've been at least a minor hit, I've heard it around so much over the past year.
