  1. Kind of seems unlikely unless she does some heavy promotion this week, and promotion converts into sales. Still haven't been able to discover if Pocketful of Sunshine (single) is being released and impacting radio today as well, or if it will be released next week? (All I know is it is being released in January).
  2. And how well do the positions on AMazon and itunes tend to correspond to the Billboard 200? Ie, will she be in the 20s or down in the 50s?  EDIT: Although, Unwritten peaked at #26 on Albums chart, but still sold loads..
  3. I'm really surprised...I guess the leak onto the internet was really damaging  And perhaps the interest in Love Like This was more centred on Kingston than Natasha? But I am confident of Pocketful of Sunshine and Angel both being bit hits, and hopefully boosting CD sales.
  4. Its down to #23.
  5. Single predictions? I would have - Love Like This, Pocketful of Sunshine, Angel, Say It Again (ft. Adam Levine)...if they do real well, then throw in Soulmate as well (the remix is definetly #1 material for the Dance charts).
  6. Although I am not in the States; I does seem to me that Sean is still big, Beautiful Girls was a big hit and his own follow-up songs are doing real well on the charts (Take Me There is doing great), as well as the success of Love Like This, which (like it or not) bears his name.
  7. Is this song being released today as well? Or is it going to be just the album? If so, have any of our american friends heard it on Radio? Or any sign of a music video? I'm so excited...this song is going to totally take Natasha to a whole another level, from a middling singer who had a big hit, to a major international artist with a string of hits behind her  And this album is SOOOOOOOO going to go multi-platinum... :cheer:
  8. Love Like This is now: Certified Gold (over 500,000 digital downloads) #19 on Hot 100 (down 2 places) - 13th week #12 on Pop 100 (down 1 place) - 15th week #12 on Pop 100 Airplay (down 2 places) - 13th week #16 on Hot Digital Songs (down 2 places) - 13th week #15 on Hot Digital Tracks (down 2 places) - 11th week #16 on Canadian Hot 100 (up another 4 places :yahoo: ) - 14th week After nearly four months, still in the Top 20 of major charts It seems to me that it is getting eclipsed by Sean Kingston's "Take You There" in the States. Take You There is already certified gold, getting heavy airplay and is now several places above Love Like This on most charts. <_< Hopefully Pocketful of Sunshine will be released in the next few weeks and storm them charts :cheer: :yahoo: :w00t: I am really hopefully of it doing better than Love Like This, Top 10, maybe even Top 5..
  9. Maybe with the album leaked, they will re-think it and add the song with Eve :naughty:
  10. Your version no longer works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZgKIBVUBCg Has it charted in France, or anywhere in Europe?

Hopefully it will be a US single (3rd or 4th). Sadly, the only way I can see it making onto the Uk charts is if it is a big hit in the States, and is given a physical release and some promotion in UK. Either way, I'm pretty sure it will be re-released sometime, even if it is a reworked or remixed version...the record company and Natasha will not be wanting a single that didn't even make top 200 in the Uk on their CV :naughty:
  12. Love Like This is currently at: #17 on Hot 100 Songs (up three places from 20; it had previously peaked at 17) - 12th week on chart Absent from Hot 100 Airplay's top 25. #11 on Pop 100 (up five places from 15, having previously peaked at 10) - 14th week on chart #10 on Pop 100 Airplay (remaining at the same place, its peak on this cart) - 12th week on chart Absent from Hot Single Sales top 25. #14 on Hot Digital Songs (up four places from 18, having previously peaked at 12) - 12th week on chart #12 on Hot Digital Tracks (up a place from 13, having previously peaked at 11) - 10th week on chart #20 on Canadian Hot 100 (up four places from 24, having previously peaked at 14) - 13th week on chart After over 3 months on the chart, the song is doing well, its climbing back up, and should hopefully be making it into the top 10 as the album gears up for release, and Pocketful of Sunshine impacts radio big-time.
  13. Right now, Love Like This is lurking around the lower ends of the Top 20, can only hope it will climb into the top 10, before it begins falling back down... You're right, Pocketful of Sunshine has enormous potential, I can really see it becoming a huge hit and some remixes of it making it onto the dance chart, for example. Also, Natasha performed 'Say It Again' on "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve" (December 07) to pretty rapturous aplause, and following an introduction by Fergie. See here, at the bottom of this page: http://www.thesewords.net/ I can really see it being released as a 3rd single after LLT and PFOS...maybe even making it onto the UK charts as well. :yahoo: What do you guys think?
  14. Maybe the Babies remix would be better suited to US...either way, a single really shouldn't be left out. Nor should the song with Eve have been left out

I managed to dig up some info... The album charted respectfully at #2 on the Gospel Charts, but disappointingly at #102 on the Billboard 200. The lead single followed the same pattern, doing well in the gospel market (top 10 on the Gospel airplay charts), but only #89 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Charts. It charted at #10 on the Canadian Top 40, which is pretty good. All in all, this album was disappointing so far as chart runs and sales go, especially when compared with the phenomenal success of their previous releases. And as the lead singles tend to be the only ones to cross over into mainstream for gospel artists, I really can't see another single/video being released and boosting sales. But, they are a great group and very talented, and have been put up for a Grammy ^_^
  16. Well, it's just stepped back up to #18.. but after studying charts and stuff, I doubt it will make top 10... At very most, step up a few places...but even so, I reckon it's probably peaked on most charts by now. I just hope Pocketful of Sunshine is released soon, before the album! :yahoo:

Any fans out there? Anyone know if their new album and single charted at all? Or was it a complete flop?
  18. If they would work with some top producers (The Neptunes, Timbaland, Ying Yang Twins, and so on) and songwriters, I think they could carry on for a few years longer, and THEN go out on a real high. Headlines was not a flop, and its an OK song, but it was slightly disappointing in terms of charting...I had expected at least #1 in the UK and most European countries. Imho, they should have invested more in some remixes of it, at very least a Dance remix to release to the clubs, and another remix featuring a rapper for US release ^_^ Sales of the album and single would certainly pick up if those two remixes came out, and we would see it at least in top 10 all over. After that, they should continue touring and record a new album, with some fresh HOT material, building on all their solo work and their own career in the 90's (lets face it, Headlines was inferior to alot of the older stuff).
  19. According to Wikipedia, #14 Canadian Hot 100 #10 Turkish Singles Chart #18 US Billboard Hot 100 #11 US Billboard Pop 100 #15 US Billboard Top 40 Mainstream.. but these are all retrieved November 2, 2007. So any more recent and additional (like airplay) info would really be welcome EDIT: Managed to find this; currently at #19 on Hot 100, #11 on Pop 100. #11 on Pop 100 Airplay (she's not on Hot 100 Airplay top 25). #15 on Hot Digital Songs (peak of #12). #14 on Hot Digital Tracks (peak of #11). #19 on Canadian Hot 100 (peak of #14). So I guess she is still doing really well, nearly two months in the top 20 of most charts. :yahoo:
  20. Anyone know exact positions of Love Like This on the Hot 100 and Pop charts in the US? Or any chart information whatsoever...
  21. I love it. I really hope it is released soon in US, building on success of Love Like This, and go at least top 40 over there... And then released in UK as single from new album/reissue of N.B...maybe even before Love Like This is released, imho its a much better song. But then again, Sean Kingston is big right now..so I guess Love Like This would be released first to build on his fame :naughty:

Any got updates? According to Wikipedia worldwide sales are now at about 250k...and not 50k like this thread says.. I guess something must have happened to boost sales so much.

The three girls of Destiny's Child are great together, and right now, I think all of their careers would benefit. Although Ms. Kelly sold respectably, and Like This was a moderate hit (but by no means a smash), Kelly's career has somewhat stagnated. I doubt either of the two follow-up singles will do better than Like This, and I don't think the re-release of Ms. Kelly will sell significantly more than its predecessor... Despite a fairly successful career in gospel music, Michelle got alot of criticism for her not-so-Christian bootyshakin' with Destiny's Child, and decided to go down a more secular route...but, let's face it, she's been largely forgotten by most people. Her version of the classic "Let's Stay Together" was almost completely ignored, and none of her gospel songs crossed over to mainstream success (when you consider how the big gospel artists usually make it into the lower rungs of R&B/Hip-Hop and even Pop charts, it is sad). So I doubt her R&B album will achieve as much success as a new project from Destiny's Child... Beyonce's sister Solange is supposedly going to join up as the fourth member, fairly predictable given her appearance in Get Me Bodied and the relative failure of her solo career. Again, anything done as Destiny's Child will easily be a greater sucess than a solo album (even though one is in the works). But its not just them that needs this. After the phenomenal success she has enjoyed with her solo albums and numerous singles - with a new album coming out next year - Beyonce needs it too. A new project from Destiny's Child would be something new, fresh; whilst another single from Beyonce (unless it is amazingly incredibly good) would probably not be so interesting, given how almost every chart has been saturated by her music. (I am not dissing her, other artists like Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake are running the same risk after so many hit songs in quick sucession, of people getting tired of their sound). So, it would be good for all of their careers...at least, that's what I think. And of course, very welcome by all the fans! They are much better together than apart, and I am glad they are not waiting as long as the Spice Girls did...
  24. Love Like This is a bit...urgh!...when you first listen to it, but the more you listen to it, (I at least) warm up to it. But still not a song I would listen to over and over again...a bit too cheesy. And not cheesy in a nice way like Babies...just, cheesy. The One That Got Away is a brilliant song and no-wonder it was #1 on the Dance and Dance Airplay charts.. I think it would definetly be a hit in UK and Europe, and would be good for European fans to get the same material the Americans get.
  25. Just wanted to give fuller answers And thanks
